What is it about certain people’s faces..

... that totally rubs you up the wrong way. I mean, they might be a perfectly lovely person, but there’s something about their face that makes you want to punch them.

Take Keira Knightly for example.

I appreciate she is beautiful, that’s not the issue, it’s just something about her face that I find so irritating.

Perez Hilton. Very annoying face.

There’s a few more that I can’t recall right now but AIBU?

Cara Delevinge. I think she's gorgeous actually. And, probably a really good lay. Wink

AlexaAmbidextra · 16/02/2019 01:57

Anna Soubry. Serious claquing potential.

AlexaAmbidextra · 16/02/2019 01:59

Oh, and Lauren Goodger.

hazandduck · 16/02/2019 02:07

Oh I forgot Jeremy Piven. My god there is something that gets my back up about him. It is an almost animal reaction. He reminds me of my neighbour too who always gives me the creeps.

hazandduck · 16/02/2019 02:07

I can’t believe Noel Fielding made this list!

primoestate · 16/02/2019 02:10

James Martin. Unbearable twat.

lightlypoached · 16/02/2019 02:12

That bloke from the Plusnet adverts and the bloke from the Halifax adverts (the ones where they completely destroy classic films with his stupid face popping up all over waving a credit card around. Bastard.

Both need the clacquing of their lives.

primoestate · 16/02/2019 02:19

And Philip Green and his smug wife and daughter. Total rage.

TimeForDinnerDinnerDinner · 16/02/2019 06:54

Me Sad
My face really brings out the worst in people - including my own mum from when I was little.
No idea why, or how to change it, but I really do have a slapable face Sad

clarazabel · 16/02/2019 06:57

Michael McIntyre, James Corden and Alexander Armstrong, the unholy trinity of smugness. Make me want to weep.

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 16/02/2019 08:56

'Philip Schofield here'

Fuck off.

UnperfectLife · 16/02/2019 09:24

Oh yes- I could definitely claque Ann Hathaway's tête.
And 3 cheers for the instigator of Tête à Claquer!!!!!!!!!

airedailleurs · 16/02/2019 09:36

I haven't rtwt but most of the people that I have seen mentioned so far feature in transvestigation videos (a recent discovery of mine, and actually very compelling), and I think this is what makes their faces look a bit 'off' or annoying.

airedailleurs · 16/02/2019 09:47

AKA Elite Gender Inversion btw...loads on the interweb for those who'd like to explore further!

ChristineBaskets · 16/02/2019 10:24

Yeah they're all shape-shifting lizards too Hmm

airedailleurs · 16/02/2019 10:39

@ChristineBaskets I see what you did there, but it's very strange that almost all the individuals mentioned in this thread are EXACTLY the same as those who are the subject of transvestigations. Have you actually checked for yourself?

Borridge · 16/02/2019 10:44

Sandra Bullock Envy

airedailleurs · 16/02/2019 10:58

case in point @borridge and a very obvious example.

Vixxxy · 16/02/2019 11:08

I hate when this happens, luckily its really rare, and oddly there seems to be no reason for it either as its often before I even know the person they just irritate the fuck out of me. It upsets me because I don't think I am a shallow person, but I must be on some level because of this?

Gwenhwyfar · 16/02/2019 11:18

People who have eye lines that comes out to the corner of the eyes. It makes them look really bitchy. I think it must remind me of a kind of bitchy thing people do with their eyes.
I think what's behind this is that people's features can remind us of certain expressions so we link them (probably unfairly!) to their personalities.

JustOneShadeOfGrey · 16/02/2019 11:29

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Jamie Oliver. I can't even look at him.

There is something strange about the way his tongue fits in his mouth

^^this! I’ve been loathing that face for years! Smug f🙄ck🤮r.

Pippa Middleton - looks nothing like her beautiful sister and gets on like she’s the star attraction.

Hermione Norris - bad smell under her nose and just looks so judgey.

Kim whatzername the cleaner woman.

JustOneShadeOfGrey · 16/02/2019 11:30

And Kirsten Scott Thomas - get a good night’s sleep woman!!

Movingtoplanetclanger · 16/02/2019 12:07

I definitely like Keira knightly more than I used to. I think she comes across as self conscious, not smug. Her acting has definitely improved too. I think the whole ‘Kate giving birth’ business really indeared her to me actually. She was defending Kate and having a go at the paps, so of course that couldn’t do and they had to make it seem like a cat fight Hmm.
