redexpat · 13/02/2019 16:37

Im having dinner with a colleague then going to an autism network evening with dh.

TokyoSushi · 13/02/2019 16:41

Work and then just a nice dinner at home.

LilaJude · 13/02/2019 16:43

DH and I don’t really do valentines. I’m sending my two best friends decorated cookies in the post though.

Bellasorellaa · 13/02/2019 16:45

nothing its my exes birthday on that day was meant to go out but we broke up like 3 days ago so im in

Nampoo · 13/02/2019 16:45

I have booked us both a massage for Saturday afternoon at a place I haven't been to before but on reading some review's today i'm a little concerned they are all from men - he might have the best massage of his life!!!

He's taking me out for dinner on Saturday night as we're both late home tomorrow

Auslander · 13/02/2019 16:50

Nothing. I will be at work.
There's plenty of ready meals in the freezer for my OH to help himself to though 😀

Jeezoh · 13/02/2019 16:51

Nothing, we don’t celebrate it. Do I win the prize for the least useful reply Grin

ImFreeToDoWhatIWant · 13/02/2019 16:52

Got one of the Waitrose meal deals which we'll have whilst both the boys are at scouts. It's our 90 minutes a week date 'night'!

mightypinkdms · 13/02/2019 16:53

Parents evening. As a teacher. 🙄 so I guess I have no plans.

expatmigrant · 13/02/2019 16:53

Nothing here either and we've managed 33 years without it.
We go out plenty and buy things for each other so never felt the need to fall for the whole Valentine thing.

Limensoda · 13/02/2019 16:54

He's cooking me a meal and we will have too much wine.
That's as romantic as it gets. Grin

Aberforthsgoat · 13/02/2019 16:55

Nothing! We don’t do valentines, never have

Disfordarkchocolate · 13/02/2019 16:55

Takeaway I hope, then a cuddle on the couch. It will be lovely because my husband is lovely.

Mumstheword1987 · 13/02/2019 16:55

My dp will be working until 6pm on a 12 hour shift I'll be lovingly cooking a Indian curry with rice and heart choc puddings to follow

Frlrlrubert · 13/02/2019 16:57

I've got parents evening. I'm sure the parents are thrilled with the date also!

bellsbuss · 13/02/2019 16:57

Going for cocktails then dinner, we always celebrate Valentine's Day.

Lolly49 · 13/02/2019 16:57

Marks and Spencer £20 meal deal.I bought him a card not bad after 26 years of marriage.

recrudescence · 13/02/2019 16:58

I am cooking a nice dinner at home. We used to go out but the ‘special’ menus restaurants put on are invariably a naff ripoff.

thismeansnothing · 13/02/2019 16:59

Nothing.
DH is at work.
I'm on mat leave.
DD is at school.
Me and DH don't need a day where were made to feel we have to spend money unnecessarily or say I love you. There's 365 days a year for that

JaffacakesAreCakesNotBiscuits · 13/02/2019 17:04

Nothing. We don't need a commercialised day to say we love each other.
We'll do our normal weekday thing, dinner, hot soak kids to bed and chill out together..

Parsley65 · 13/02/2019 17:04

I think going out for a meal is a mugs game. We stay home with a meal deal and watch something on Netflix. I'll probably get a card. Possibly some flowers and chox.

I know it's a commercial con, but do think it's what you make it (like Christmas Wink So easy to just let the days, months and years slide by in your own little rut. Maybe I'm just an incurable romantic..? Flowers

findingmyfeet12 · 13/02/2019 17:06

We're both working late but we'll just cuddle up and watch a film when we get home.

Dinner will be nothing special but I might pick us up a nice dessert.

HumptyNumptyNooNoo · 13/02/2019 17:07

Netflix and chill

NameChanger08 · 13/02/2019 17:08

Curry, wine, chocolates & cuddles on the couch watching a boxset.

DH has been texting me romantic/rude roses are red poems all week & has bought me a bunch of daffs ❤

When we first got together we did the cards & the teddy bear thing but 17 years later we now appreciate the small thoughtful gestures rather than an over priced meal & a bunch of over priced roses.

HeckinHell · 13/02/2019 17:10

I won’t see my partner tomorrow, so a glass of wine and a movie with the cats is on the cards. Pretty much what I’d do anyway with a night to myself!
