Nothing. It's our wedding anniversary, H died four weeks ago.

Darkestnight · 13/02/2019 17:12

Working but I don't mind as I'm single anyway Smile

OnTheFrow · 13/02/2019 17:13

Me and my DH have our 10y anniversary tomorrow so we're going to go to the local Italian for pizza and win early doors with our 4yo who is very excited for 'love' day.

OnTheFrow · 13/02/2019 17:13

@tillytoodles1 I'm so sorry to hear that. You'll be in my thoughts ❤️

Huntawaymama · 13/02/2019 17:14

I've bought husband his favourite magazine and a dvd. DD and I have just made him some cupcakes and I'll cook a 3 course meal tomorrow night. By chance we are going to go out for lunch together but it's literally the first bit of free time he's had since Xmas and dd is in nursery so we're having day date. Just happens to fall on valentines day

jarhead123 · 13/02/2019 17:17

Nothing. We love each other very much but don't really buy into it all

Niffler25 · 13/02/2019 17:19

Both DP and I are working, we'll take the dogs out after work then he is cooking dinner. Have some nice lingerie for afterwards and I think he may have bought something of the toy variety Blush. Although I have bought him his favourite whisky so between that and being full of good food, we will probably just collapse on the couch with a film Grin!

madrose · 13/02/2019 17:22

It's my mum's funeral. At least I'll be with family

LeonoraFlorence · 13/02/2019 17:23

We’re on holiday so will go out to eat and to entertainment at hotel for DDs. Had we been at home we would likely have had a takeaway and a film. Nothing really that special!

TakenForSlanted · 13/02/2019 17:25

Work. Then take an evening flight to make my 8am meeting on Friday.

Very romantic stuff.

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 13/02/2019 17:25

Not seeing each other tomorrow (although he offered to take me out), cooking a meal together tonight and having some wine. Exchanging cards and gifts I believe, although I have 3 for him, and he’s taking me away for the week, so I’m not expecting any, but I think I will probably get me one or two so I have something for the day. Then I’ve booked a restaurant for Saturday night for a meal, which he doesn’t know about- because I refuse to pay February 14th prices!

CallMeSirShotsFired · 13/02/2019 17:27

I recently found out some upsetting news about my ex.
Fuck him and his fucking fuckersome fuckwittery.

I've just decided I'm going to take a boxing lesson tomorrow night and use my emotions productively.

HollySwift · 13/02/2019 17:30

DH has booked the day off so he’s doing the school run whilst I stay in bed. Then we’re going to M & S to buy whatever we want, home to eat whilst watching netflix and staying in bed. All day. Heaven!

Aaaahfuck · 13/02/2019 17:32

We've never really done valentines. When we were first together we would do a nice meal at home. I think going out is a bit of a mugs game. I understand it can be a nice opportunity to get together if you're both really busy. But also think it can be a bit of a cop out when people buy some tat and think they're done for the year.

stepup123 · 13/02/2019 17:32

I'm a single Pringle. My friend and I are currently in Santiago for a holiday. We are off to a vineyard!

blackteasplease · 13/02/2019 17:34

Making a nice meal for the kids.

I'm single, but it's nice to take advantage of the food offers that are about over Valentine's!

MsSquiz · 13/02/2019 17:34

DH was supposed to be cooking dinner, but he plays football on Thursday evenings, so it's generally easier for me to cook for him coming in...

In the afternoon, I will be eating the cake I baked today with a friend who is going through a tough time

Fenellapitstop · 13/02/2019 17:35

Taking my car for an mot, going to the gym and frantically checking the Royal Mail tracker for my decree absolute application getting to the court. Super romantic

hammeringinmyhead · 13/02/2019 17:35

Nothing. We have a three month old baby. Maybe we'll hold hands over the changing mat Grin

Iltavilli · 13/02/2019 17:37

Having a lower wisdom tooth extracted (Andy a big bit of jaw sawn off). Romance!

TheyGotMyName · 13/02/2019 17:38

Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary I totally forgot about it untill this morning and DH hasn't even asked when it is this year yet so he has definitely forgotten I have bought him a card and I will give him money towards a part for his bike I know he wants super romantic

ineedtostopgooglingsymptoms · 13/02/2019 17:38

Sat at home waiting for baby to make an appearance

Jaxinthebox · 13/02/2019 17:41

Im not expecting anything at all, but I am going out with DP Mother and his sister for dinner. Fuck 'DP' and his 'I dont do that' nonsense. I dont want expensive anything, but its our first Valentine Day.

Sirzy · 13/02/2019 17:42

Dp is works away all week so he will be somewhere miles away tomorrow! We are going out for a meal on Friday though.

Polarbearflavour · 13/02/2019 17:43

We are having a roast venison dinner at home.
