To use fake tan every single day.

So in winter, I just put it on my face and neck, and use it as a base foundation and then I use moisturiser and sun tan lotion over the top, little bit of make-up and done.

I’m summer I use it all over!

AIBU - does anyone else do this?

Don't you look like a tangerine?

Are you not very orange? No objection to fake tan (millions of times healthier than sun or sun beds!) but daily use would make me look like a really naff Oompa Loompa.

Do you mean the stuff that washes off? I do that sometimes for a night out. Not the stuff that develops over night though, you would look orange and patchy within a week surely!

I definitely look slightly orange.. and I’m a bit stinky, but I can live with those side effects

Do you not feel grimy? I hate the way it feels on my face, it always feels like my skin can't breathe.

Well personally for me the Orange look is definitely not my thing!

If your happy though and like how it looks then that's all that matters, it's no one else's business!

All fake tan is actually doing is dyeing the dead skin cells and keeping them stuck to you. I do not understand wanting to be orange and smell of dog biscuits every day!

I think that I’ve got used to it, so I don’t notice the uncomfortable bits of fake tan use! I actually think I’m addicted to it, if it’s possible to be addicted to fake tan

Which fake tan do you use?! And do you have to wash your sheets every day?!! You don’t look overly orange from that photo, im very envious of your lovely neck - mines fat (and pale! Haha!)

Doesn’t look too orange but hard to tell , my friend has been using it and looks unnaturally dark just now and the stained knuckles and wrists aren’t a great look, but I’ve bever done fake tan

Actual fake tan? Or do you mean the gradual tan ie body lotion/moisturiser with tan?

I use isle of paradise tanning water. It's colour correcting and doesn't transfer plus it is fool proof.

So you put 4 different products on your face every day? Where do you find the time?!

I do OP. I use cocoa brown I apply it 2/3 times a week. My colleague who I’ve sat next to everyday for two years was gobsmacked to find out I use fake tan. I genuinely do not smell and I am not orange. I have a very subtle tan.

I prefer how I look with fake tan on, and after years and years of being bullied for having freckles I don’t think I’ll ever give it up.

I add Isle of Paradise to my body lotion every day too. Bloody love it! No smell, no orange, no transference. Crack on OP.

You don’t look orange in the photo. On the contrary, you look like you’ve been to Tenerife! I don’t think you need to use it everyday, though. Perhaps wean yourself to using a gradual tan a couple of times a week?

I occasionally use a bit in the winter, as a pick-me-up.

Johnny, I find that my eyes and teeth look brighter with fake tan too, and I can often go without my very expensive foundation as the fake tan provides the base layer. I love it, but as I popped it on tonight I did wonder how abnormal it is
