So in winter, I just put it on my face and neck, and use it as a base foundation and then I use moisturiser and sun tan lotion over the top, little bit of make-up and done.

I’m summer I use it all over!

AIBU - does anyone else do this?

Ha. I do indeed but in bulk Grin

I use the same product on face, arms and neck every day too. No I don’t “stink” . Unbelievably rude to suggest that confessional. Grow up.

OhHelpx · 23/01/2019 20:48

I use that garnier spray one I love it! I do it every Sunday and Wednesday 😂 Never thought to use gradual invetween though hmmm potentially genius!

ScarlettDarling · 23/01/2019 20:48

I think you're a really nice colour actually! I like the Garnier summer tan. I find that after 2 or 3 applications it's the colour I want but I suppose if you want to keep that colour, you need to keep slapping it on!

soupandshake · 23/01/2019 20:49

I use the Clarins drops once a week in winter. I've got olive skin that looks sallow at this time of year, my face isn't tanned but has a bit of a glow.

FloralTeacup · 23/01/2019 20:50

Most fake tan these days don’t have the notorious “stink”, anyway. Especially not after a shower! Maybe the cheap ones, but I’ve had no issues with the likes of Garnier, Dove, and Isle of Paradise smells gorge.

ReaganSomerset · 23/01/2019 20:50

I must be weird, but I think the photo looks very orange! Maybe it's the contrast on my phone.

datingconfusion · 23/01/2019 20:51

I’m feeling relieved that I’m not the only one using it very regularly Grin

Have your family ever tried to stage an intervention?

'We're only doing this because we love you, babe. We've booked you in for a fortnight to Complexion Correction rehab.'

MsPeachh · 23/01/2019 20:54

I’ve just put some on my face this evening! No reason except I just feel a bit more glowy with it on and I’m feeling fed up with winter. I would put it on every day but I am too lazy!

datingconfusion · 23/01/2019 20:55

The people in my life definitely think it’s crazy, but they also make fun of my fitness obsession and the fact I love green tea, so I can’t really trust their judgement Wink

Yes I love not having to wear my foundation, just a bit of BB cream. It helps to smooth all my freckles and blemishes so my skin looks really fresh and clear.

I would say I am addicted as I couldn’t find without, but I have learnt to embrace a more subtle tan as I’ve got older, which is a much better look. I can admit I used to stink of burnt biscuits in my teenage years and the colour of my teenage skin can only be described as dark mahogany with a neon orange glow 😂.

JohnnyKarate · 23/01/2019 20:57

that should say couldn’t go without!!

datingconfusion · 23/01/2019 20:57

Johnny, that made me chuckle Grin

In similar! Every 2-3 days though as I find it lasts fine. In winter I just do face/neck and then hands and arms.
I used to love the garnier ones and also dove but they do tend to smell! Now I use the st tropez gradual tan, it is way easier to get no streaks and also doesn't smell. Looks more natural and less orange too.

I'm in the minority that I'd rather be slightly orange than deathly pale which I otherwise am.

Fabellini · 23/01/2019 21:00

I get a spray tan pretty much every week, and I use James Read h20 gradual tanning drops mixed with my moisturiser on my face every day. I only smell the day I get the tan (was reliably informed by my sister, who wouldn’t mince her words), and I just prefer how I look with a tan.

formerbabe · 23/01/2019 21:02

Do you just do your face and neck or your whole body everyday?

I could easily use fake tan on my face everyday and not look orange. Cleansing and exfoliating removes a lot of it.

Soulsista14 · 23/01/2019 21:02

Do you use the body lotion on your face too? I’ve previously used the face tanning moisturiser and it’s never worked out well for me Confused

MadeForThis · 23/01/2019 21:02

I use the same one!!

Tends to be every other day. Sometimes I miss days then go weeks without.

Face neck chest arms.

Love how I look healthier. Hides dark circles too.

It's only moisturiser so doesn't have the usual fake tan smell.

datingconfusion · 23/01/2019 21:06

In winter, just my face and neck!

I do use the body ones on my face Blush

And you’re so right about dark circles, I adore it as it minimises the appearance!

Most of Chigwell and Epping, unless there is a micro-climate.

Bluntness100 · 23/01/2019 21:08

I don't put any on my face, but I do use st tropez on my body throughout winter, just gives me a light honey colour, not tanned, as when I don't I'm really really white. I do it prob once a week or so.

It really does make a difference, I was out at the weekend at a friends party and wearing a short sleeved top and my arms simply look much better when I have a little fake tan on than I do when I'm milk bottle white.

JohnnyKarate · 23/01/2019 21:12

Do you not do your hands OP? I always have to make sure my hands match my face and neck.

datingconfusion · 23/01/2019 21:18

Johnny, sometimes, but not consistently Grin
