To be annoyed at woman from DofE car crash?

Whatever we think about Prince Phillip and his driving, the accident happened and two ladies were unfortunately hurt.

However, I am watching This Morning and getting some level of rage about the clear compo grabbing attitude of this lady! Crashes happen every day and she has no need to be splashed across every news paper and programme because she wants an apology!

The Royal Family have even said they have tried to be in touch but not getting a response. What does she want?!

CantWaitToRetire · 21/01/2019 16:45

What newspaper Lulu?

GertrudeCB · 21/01/2019 16:46

Lulu remember to NC on this site after the story is published Wink.

Shallishanti123 · 21/01/2019 16:47

This has to be a mn classic!

CantWaitToRetire · 21/01/2019 16:54

This newspaper obviously wants to be the first to publish this story before it gets out, so no surprise they sent someone round straight away. I wonder if they're aiming to get it in tomorrow's edition?

FrenchSchnoodle · 21/01/2019 16:56

Good luck with it. You deserve to have your story heard. Huge hugs

GreenBea · 21/01/2019 16:57

Way to go @LuluBellaBlue - I saw clips of Emma on TM and I was raging. Take whatever payment they give you and then you can decide what to do with the money. It sounds like Her Maj will be rather pleased with you too! Good Luck! X

peridito · 21/01/2019 16:58

Another here wondering how they got contact details for Lulu .
Presumably via MN .

And YY don't forget to name chage lulu

I don't know what happened btwn Lulu and Emma car crash lady ,do so hope this won't create new problems .

upseta · 21/01/2019 16:59

Another one chiming in to say take the money. You need it and it’ll be poetic justice. Don’t feel guilty taking payment Flowers

GreenBea · 21/01/2019 16:59

@CantWaitToRetire should imagine it'll be online before the night is over. They won't want to sit on this. Especially if they know there is already publicity around it.

DownstairsMixUp · 21/01/2019 17:01

Can someone pm me what happened with lulu ?!

samphireaidee · 21/01/2019 17:01

i agree take whats owed to you. no shame in that.

Sickoffamilydrama · 21/01/2019 17:03

I hope Emma is about to learn that Karma is a bitch and what you do to others comes back to you three fold.

The sensible thing would have been to raise any safety concerns regarding the Prince's driving with the police. Then gone through the insurance company for any lost earnings/ compensation like you would do for any other accident.

I did kind of feel sorry for Emma after she hurt Lulu and believed she had her own issues but to then go on TV almost demanding an apology for an accident, well what she did was a deliberate act, I'd like to ask her where is Lulu apology?

I now see she's a nasty manipulative person who will use anything she can to gain for herself, she shouldn't be allowed to work unsupervised with vulnerable people.

Coppermine · 21/01/2019 17:04

Well, I'd like to say I heard it here first but MN deleted the posts before I read them. So I'm pleased it's looking like I will get to read it in the press instead!

NicoAndTheNiners · 21/01/2019 17:04

God I think at this rate LuLu will be getting a phone call and a bunch of flowers from Queenie! Grin

Which media outlet/newspaper is it, can you say?

NicoAndTheNiners · 21/01/2019 17:05

And I also think you should take any money offered after what she has done!

Abra1de · 21/01/2019 17:06

the Duke wants to go out in his car you would think he would take his personal protection officer with him, if he had done that they could have stepped out of te car and advised him when to pull out.

How would the protection officer get back into the car after it had pulled out if it’s a busy and fast road?

IsItThatTimeAgain · 21/01/2019 17:07

I missed the original Lulu posts but it sounds like karma is about to be served to someone.

Whisky2014 · 21/01/2019 17:08

LULU nice cat!

Can someone pm me the story I missed it all :(

chillpizza · 21/01/2019 17:08

Team LULU Wine Cake I read before the posts where deleted but I shall be checking the papers in the morning. I’m still shocked that she didn’t think this might happen from putting her face all over the news. Silly women.

peridito · 21/01/2019 17:09

As I understand it the protection officer/s were following in a car behind the DoE .

mydogisthebest · 21/01/2019 17:09

peridito, so what do you think the response from the Royal Family should have been? Everything is meant to be done through insurance after an accident not personal contact between the parties.

My DH had a car hit when stopped at road works so hard it completely pushed the back of an estate right almost to the front seats. It was all handled by insurance. We never expected the driver to contact us in any way.

As I said before, if the accident had been between her friend (don't forget it wasn't even her driving) and Joe Bloggs she would not be expecting a phone call or a card or flowers would she? Stupid greedy woman

samphireaidee · 21/01/2019 17:10

the road is busy and fast (most do 50- 60 on it, I know I do!). So unless he pulled right over onto the verge that may cause an accident in itself. Plus a man even with a high viz on would be a sitting duck. Its on a bend.

samphireaidee · 21/01/2019 17:11

Im not the only person whos "local", drove past it all am I??? I mean there were lots of drivers going past the crash!

SaveKevin · 21/01/2019 17:17

I’d also imagine he was dazed and confused after the accident, he probably hadn’t concerns it was something more sinister and actually getting him the hell out of there is the best thing in case it’s a kidnap attempt.
