To ask what presents you’re really chuffed with this year?

What gifts have you bought for your loved ones that you can’t wait to see them open?

I’ll start - my SIL has a record player and I’ve got her an LP of a song she really loves and that means a lot to her.

I got my DP two things, both fairly boring cooking stuff but he’s so into cooking and food, we did Xmas on Friday before I went back to Scotland and he was totally totally chuffed. Smile

My friend loves food and has a national trust membership so I bought him a national trust cookbook, which he loved.
I have bought for my DSis and BIL vouchers for odeon and Nando's with the promise of a babysitter as they often complain they don't get a date night.
And I have got my DM and her DH tickets for Rhod Gilbert. I have put the confirmation email inside a cracker and filled it with Christmas confetti 😈 I really can't wait to see their face when they open this one.

DH has a HydroShot. I'm VERY excited - I think I've nailed it this year, even though I thought I'd never top the B&D WorkBench.

My Dsis has got a signed and dedicated CD by her childhood crush. Was sent direct to her in the summer so have had to buy a few bits so she has something to open.

A Harry Potter board game for DH that is currently only available in one shop in America, has only been out there a fortnight and hasn't been licensed to be sold outside of North America at all.

I know he's going to love it.

My OH loves books. In particular Terry Pratchett. He was gutted at his passing and it might seem insignifant to some but I have got him a signed book off EBay as he never managed to get to a signing.

I bought my son a really decent axe and sharpener.

For all of his life he has been into computers and used to moan when I made him come to outdoorsy/allotment stuff with me. Now he's rediscovering it again and he's loving it. I know hes going to be so chuffed.

I got DD a Miranda sings lipstick from America that she thinks is too expensive to ship so didn't ask for. She's going to burst when she opens it & I can't wait to see her face!

Aardvark - that is a fabulous idea. I hope he loves it !

I got my bezzie a risotto pan, quite proud of that idea. For another friend I’ve knitted a mobius cowl, really hope she likes it. And for my dad I got a voucher to mix his own whisky blend - pretty pleases with that idea too.

My youngest son who has always been unintentionally overlooked somewhat ( he’s quite laid back about stuff ) anyway he’s getting a Nintendo switch I overheard him telling his friend ( who’s asked for one ) he’d never be allowed ask as he has an Xbox . I just can’t wait to see his little face !!!

I’ve got DD a big skewer/ kebab thing of marshmallows. She’s been eyeing them up in the shop we go to for weeks and I’ve said no they are for big girls Smile. It’s going to be at the top of her stocking and I can’t wait to see her little face!

Got DBIL, who I adore, a t-shirt which pronounces the Welsh support for Catalan independence. He will totally go bonkers.

He loves all that stuff, I'm so excited to give it to him. I told DSis what I'd got and she gushed, 'ohhh, xxxx will LOOOVE that! "
