To wonder about a few things with the LGW drone attack

Before I get flamed (and not that anyone will resist flaming if they want to anyway). I know-

-It's not that easy
-Safety First
-People are doing their best

But I can't help wondering and idly speculating about why -

We apparently don't have any counter measures for this.
It can go on so long
We aren't seeing any News footage of the drone(s)

I am 100% NOT a conspiracy theorist but I am very curious about exactly what is going on.

Ah, loving some of the comments on our local paper (I live in Crawley) They can't possibly be married. They have different surnames.

How can this be? Married people not having the same name! Shocker!

They can be kept for 24 hours until being charged or released.
Once charged they will have to wait to go to court on the next available day (will be Monday now) where they enter a plea and ask for bail

I hope they're kept in jail over xmas if they are guilty. They have ruined so many Christmases with their stupid actions.

Ooh interesting, no they don't look how I expected. I'm fascinated to hear their motivation if it was them.

The police are keen to charge anyone with it as they are so embarrassed..

Ot but I'm glad they have to be charged within 24 hours or let free. Wasn't it Blair and brown wanting to make it several weeks?!

They look younger in the pics than I had thought given their ages! Wasn't it you spaghettibol who hoped it was someone who lived locally annoyed with the flights upthread? I find it hard to believe this was an accident.

Yes it was. I just don’t think it was them, especially given he was apparently at work all day.

Why on earth didn't that chap, Mott, phone the police and tell them what he'd seen? I wonder if it was true or just that he wants his 5 minutes of 'fame' ?

I know women of 54 who don’t look their age. Also, she’s supposed to have been involved in modelling.

The blokes boss is still insisting he was at work.

Neighbours always say it couldn’t have been them. Even in cases where they have recovered a bomb from a house and it categorically is them, without a shadow of a doubt. Could the boss also be involved and be providing an alibi. Could they have done it in shifts?

Its bizarre his boss is insisting he was at work isnt it. Maybe theres an elaborate undercover agents ring.... or a group who really dont like Gatwixk airport. Or a bunch of cult followers and the boss is the head cult leadèr ..

People thought it was going to be a genius social misfit in his 30s living with his mum or possibly a group of radical eco-warriors looking like ‘swampy’. I agree that she doesn’t look 54, they both look well turned out, lots of make-up/products, possibly the type that want 5 minutes of fame rather than an end to air travel pollution.

The expectation (earlier in the thread) that it must be a man, or that it can't have been them because the man was at work for some of the germane times, really shows what women in STEM are up against.

All it shows is that the blokes boss has said he was at work as part of a 3 man team everyday last week.
