He claims it is for a client!

Client my arse, where are his priorities fgs, I have given him 2 children had my stomach slashed and my nethers stitched and what thanks do I get?

Do you think divorce is too harsh or just separate for a while?

TIA

Silver cars rock.

I have a silver Volvo V40, and I love it. It was even worth the BJ!

It's also a damn sight better than the old banger I used to drive round in

he is selling it Twig

like that is a valid reason fgs...

the Volvo may have been a V40, Intergalatic, it it long? (I do not know anything about cars!)

I do have a mercedes (sorry girls) totally by accident as my brother emigrated to canda.
It's big truck and i won;t be able to get the big dog/small dog ds1 + bump (when he arrives) and pram and all stuff needed for an outing longer than 2 days. We already bought the top box....
I think we need a van :0

Also, need brakes fixing, 4 new tyres and has just gone in for an estimate after I hit the gate at nursery and the dh promptly (but v. slowly) drove into another parked car -also a mercedes!

It's the "compavt" estate that Voilvo do.

It's great because I can fit 3 buggies in the bcak (no room to keep them in the house) and my cello plus the children and DP

3 buggies in the back + a cello?!?!
Sounds ieal to me. When i was little we had a fiat 127 (VVVVVVV tiny) and could only just get my 3/4 sized cello in that.....oh the memories

Mind you, my brother did get an entire bathroom (bath, sink, toilet) in the back of the ML truck that I have. Once the seats are flat there is sooo much space but as the seats are always up nothing less than the tardis seems to be able to get us all + our crap in!

I don't want an expensive car I want a little run around that isn't too long as I can't park to save my life and get all flustered

I like Meganes

ooer Tutter , you must have very posh (or bank robber!) neighbours ! I should point out ours is a basic model under a company lease scheme , before anyone gets carried away.

oliveoil, the best car i had was my black wv golf. Was m reg so quite old but when i finished with it it had 250,000 (yes true! Was deisel) miles on the clock. ALWAYS started, only slight problem was the sunroof started to open when you came to a halt -sometimes. Oh, and the door locks went but after that amount of miles it could be forgive

I with you Olive, re a little run around. I would love a mini cooper, but not practical as we are a one car family, and are already stuggling with just a Ford Focus for the 4 of us

tutter,
my brother was one of those and he's had all manner of cars and always seemed to a little embarrased of his little sis when i would turn up in my latest 'heap'. He used to introdeuce me as 'this is my sister, she's student'. -imagine that said in the banker wanker voice!

COV - I have a Focus and there are 5 of us (one in a car seat and 2 teenagers included). We manage just fine. DH's car is also a 5 seater (but his is a much swankier, faster, 5 seater estate) and we never need more space than that (even when going on holiday). Are we just an exceptionally frugal family where carrying belongings in the car is concerned ?

I do wonder why the minute people have more than one kid they automatically leap to buy a bloody 7 seater monster. I see it here all the time, a couple has one baby and all of a sudden they swap the little hatchback for the most ludicrous family bus. [shakes head]

I'm chopping my Focus in for a Megane at the end of next month. Time for a change
