I personally don’t see anything wrong with bragging about your achievements, whether they be academic (graduation) or materialistic (luxury car after saving for 3 years).

In fact, I love reading that and it inspires me. Hopefully it would inspire others too or allow them to live vicariously through you.

If you are bothered by bragging, please read no further.

SO, everyone is invited to my bragfest where they can brag about that new promotion, that designer handbag or that dream holiday. No judgements here, just celebrations for your achievement !

I suppose I should go first ...

I went on 4 holidays this year and didn’t feel guilty about it ! (Though none of those were to my dream destination ..Blush)

I just landed a Chief Operating Officer job for a great company. I had fantastic feedback from the three interviews, four presentations and team exercise I had to do. I even managed to negotiate my salary and annual leave entitlement up.

Bragfest · 11/11/2018 18:24

Wow Sporty that’s great ! Honestly I don’t know you but I’m proud of you. Flowers

Shame no one else wants to take part 😕

I got 3 beautiful boys all close in age but that’s it . A lovely mum absolutely sister . Everything else is pretty rubbish

FuzzyCustard · 11/11/2018 18:31

I've lost 2.5 stone in weight over the past 8 months just by eating less. It needed doing.

CoperCabana · 11/11/2018 18:33

My kids are so well behaved. I don’t rule them with an iron fist and don’t helicopter but I have instilled in them a sense of right and wrong and it shows. Only out and about though. In the house is another story!

But I am so proud of them in social situations.

frankie001 · 11/11/2018 18:33

I’ve slept all day!

Rarfy · 11/11/2018 18:34

Dp and i recently moved into a shared ownership home. I never knew if we would ever be in this position and it is only with.the sheer genorosity of family we have pulled it off but god it feels so good. It has been life changing for us.

We are also expecting a baby girl in the near future. Our first son was stillborn. It finally feels like everything is coming together and life is good!

Congrats to everyone else for all the things that are making them happy at the mo!

LunaLovesgood · 11/11/2018 18:38

My brag isn't anywhere near a big one but today I explained not all children get presents from Santa to my nearly three year old and she started pulling toys out to give to them Grin

We ended up having a massive clear out and tidy up and it was honestly a really really proud moment for me,

giveitfive · 11/11/2018 18:41

Frankie for the win!

I'm dead proud of my sons. I just really like them. Genuinely if they were my age they would be my besties. I feel like I did a good job with them. They are both top performers in their chosen sport... (international level)... and both really work hard at their studies. I think I will keep them.

I also recently passed some big exams myself...

Aprilsinparis · 11/11/2018 18:41

Lost 3.5 stone since beginning of July, and got an awful lot of my confidence back. It's been bloody hard work, but I didn't give up. I'm starting to like myself again.

EmUntitled · 11/11/2018 18:43

We have saved £25,000 over the past 4 years since buying our first house. It means I could afford to quit my job and be a stay at home mum with my 18 month old.

Since quitting my job in September I have lost a stone on slimming world and I have so much more time to do the things I want with my daughter. I can't talk about this with my friends because they all work part time and I don't want to make them feel bad.

ProfessionallyUnoffended · 11/11/2018 18:43

My teen DD is such a lovely person. So proud to be her mum!

FuzzyCustard · 11/11/2018 18:44

Well done April It can be hard going, can't it? (You put my measly 2.5st to shame!)

Ollivander84 · 11/11/2018 18:44

I've had 4 modelling photos published in a magazine this week which I'm really proud of (I love the photos)

darkriver198868 · 11/11/2018 18:45

I have worked myself up to 7 hours a week volunteer hours a week. This is a huge deal for me as been out of work due to illhealth and mental health problems.

Also I haven't missed a session of therapy since I started.

tinydancer88 · 11/11/2018 18:46

I asked a man, whom I find ridiculously attractive, out on a date this week, he said yes and we went out yesterday. Had a snog. Properly proud of myself. Going out again on Wednesday.

Ofalltheginjoints · 11/11/2018 18:49

I had a job interview for a new job on Thursday and before I got home from the interview they had rang to offer me it!

Super proud as it’s great career progression, is managerial and I knew the other candidate I was up against and never thought I would get it!

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 11/11/2018 18:50

My dd is the loveliest 3 year old. She cares about others so much. She only just potty trained at 3 years 3 months in September and already has no accidents day or night, even waking me up in the night to take her to the toilet.

My DH is amazing and helps me everyday get over PTSD from sexual abuse I had during my teens.

I'm working full time, studying at night and just applied for Special Constables in my area. No one knows irl except DH so I'll say on here.

areyoubeingserviced · 11/11/2018 18:50

I have been exercising loads and I am in the best shape of my life

BitOfFun · 11/11/2018 18:52

I've just had a nice shag on the couch.

Madamswearsalot · 11/11/2018 18:56

After a particularly crappy year work wise I'm starting a director level post tomorrow and a month ago I was talking as an expert at an industry conference. My imposter syndrome can go fuck itself. I'm starting to believe that I'm actually good at what I do.

Excellent bragging everyone! I am jealous of the weight loss people. Hopefully also a little inspired!

Aprilsinparis · 11/11/2018 18:56

That's lovely ProfessionallyUnoffended can I join you, and say how proud I am to be mother to two extremely loving adult sons.

Cigarettessuffragettesandboys · 11/11/2018 18:57

I’m a size 8 again after losing all my baby weight

I’ve just designed my own house and have planning permission to build it

I can’t remember the last time I slept all day though Envy

ToPlanZ · 11/11/2018 18:59

I've nearly finished the Christmas wrapping!
