My DD has come home from her first day of secondary school almost inconsolable! She has realised that we didn’t visit McDonalds all summer!!!!
I did take younger DD, just didn’t tell older DD.

Car based conversations are easier on teens and preteens, because you’re both looking straight ahead rather than at each other. Takes the pressure off.

Some nasty comments on here. A child has started secondary school and is upset so she meeds to grow up unless she has additional needs . Pity your kids.

I know @PersisFord we normally go at least twice a week. I can only assume she was talking to someone and the subject came up and reminded her

We went to Australia in the summer and the kids were going crazy to stop at McDonalds, we did but did think did I fly 20 hours to do this 😂, still kept food bill down but no veggie burger for veggie DD and KFC did no sweetcorn or beans.

Hope there's nothing else, just moved DD as she was very unhappy at her old school and just been told a girl died from there yesterday. It's a difficult time for them.

Dc has eat there almost every day these holidays. TBH I think it's pretty healthy now they put the calorie counts on the menu....
