Let’s face it, she’s made a big deal of her “secret” by announcing it on tv and giving out teasers on her twitter page despite the controversy.

If it’s something like she’s getting married, getting a gastric band, having a facelift, or some other self centred promotion, she’s going to be a laughing stock. Who t f cares?

If it’s another tv show, or tour, or an “in time for Christmas” album, she should have kept her mouth shut on the LW show because she is so not flavour of the month right now.

They said she would make his big announcement to on LW on Monday. Will they address the bullying before or after or still ignore it?

Can you imagine if someone posting about their stillborn baby on Mumsnet was met with “we know, we've heard it all before, oh she's going to cry in a minute” 😮

If CN is on LW tomorrow surely there will be at least one audience member who will give her a big 'boooooooo'.

But really. I can't see her being on. I think the big wigs at ITV are currently planning some sort of damage limitation to include an apology and explain CN's 'time off'. CN will disappear for a couple of months before turning up to do an 'exclusive' on This Morning to talk about her harrowing experiences and promote her album/book/facelift.

Isn't recording someone having sex illegal. I thought it was something that landed you on the sex offenders register.

Umm... not sure why Nolan is being singled out in the petition, they ALL behaved appallingly and should all be removed from the panel. The producers also need to be revised if the programme is to continue, it was not a proud moment for ITV and they need to acknowledge their error in judgment. I can't see this happening though due to current attitudes toward those suffering with mental health issues.

Also the reason most of the vitriol is being directed at CN is that she was the host, she made the ‘vile witch’ comment and the mutters of ‘I know’.

It’s not just because of her homophobia, bigotry, ignorance and belittling of MH issues, strange relationship with her sons. Or her snide manner , or that no one seems to have a good word to say about her (unlike KW).

I think she should be sacked from LW but as I said upthread I think that programme has had its day, it such trash. (I say that as I binge watch say yes to the dress )

It’s odd actually, the wiki page was changed yesterday by a “Confirmed User” who has been on Wikipedia for 12 years and has made 35,000 edits.

Today it has been changed by a new user.

The bullying controversy has stayed, presumably because it has citations so rather hard to deny.

It doesn’t have to be one side or the other. The facts remain that they brought a vulnerable woman onto a programme to bear bait her and Nolan bullied her, belittled her abuse.

In addition to this, KW obviously has MH difficulties - inviting her to be a member of the BB house was deliberately playing into them. Even people without such problems would find that claustrophobic atmosphere difficult to cope with. You can't place an ill person itnto that sort of situation and expect them to be all sweetness and light, particularly when they are being talked about, belittled and goaded. It's not always paranoia.

KW doesn’t come across as a bully. She comes across as someone who needs others to behave honestly and she seems hugely frustrated and angry by the immature and bitchy behaviour that appeared to have taken place in the BB house

This is how she strikes me, too Knitted mouse. I don't think she will be an easy person, but I think she's straight with people. If you are straight with her, she will be fine - but the snide bitching that has been taking place upsets her and may even cause flashbacks (for all we know) to her dreadful early life.

CN is more publicly acceptable because she can feign a veneer of civility - Kim can't. If she feels an emotion, she expresses it. You might not like her, but I don't think she will ever lie to you, Colon Nolan might pretend to be your best friend, but would be bitchng about you behind your back - I know which of them I'd prefer.

The producers need unstable people in the BB house otherwise it would be considered boring and they might lose viewers.

Everything seems to be over the top and fake now. The younger people in the BB house all look the same and sound the same. They’re like clones that are being produced in a factory somewhere. Their only talents appear to be looking highly groomed and stylised and being passive aggressive. They don’t have personalities as such, just operating systems.

It’s a big pink, plastic, candy shaped world on these types of tv channels and, without intelligent leadership, they come unstuck and it all turns to shit. It’s the TV equivalent of The Stepford Wives.

Tv programmes could help people, but instead they just demonstrate really crap and damaging behaviour that the population seems to take in very quickly and emulate. It’s bread and circuses at its worst.

There are so many negative remarks about KW on this thread that I think that CN has a team of galley slaves posting on her behalf.

If so ladies/gents - bear in mind that she will stab you in the back the next time she needs somewhere to hang her coat.

Coleen Nolan has always come across as an ignorant low class bigmouth, so no change there.
But the bottom line is this show is just awful, it's mind numbing trash, and it says a lot about what TV producers really think of people who watch day time TV.

Via these threads Ive learnt some pretty awful stuff about Noleen Colon and she is turning out to be a right crock of s.

Who records someone having sex.

Even less would record their own child having sex.

Even less again would play it back to their child & his partner.

Even less would broadcast the fact on National TV.

For those that have only seen the clip put together by ITV, it doesn't give the whole picture, only shows the bit where KW got angry and upset. The build up to the whole thing was bad, CN's body language at the start, the way she refused to talk even though it was her show that invited an paid KW to come on.
Again, she's one of the hosts. Hosts shouldn't shout, point at or insult their guests that they have asked to come and make up. End of.

So on a show where they have benefit bashed in the past they have had someone who has actually commited benefit fraud as a panelist.

Kaye Adams did try to point out why these kinds of subjects are not black and white when Christine Lampard tried to start a "debate" It was a "would you grass on your next door neighbour" type discussion.

Speaking of Kaye does anyone remember a discussion show she had on BBC2 in the late 90s. It was on around 5pm on weekdays. It was a discussion show with audience participation similar to Kilroy. Covering proper subjects.

Ditch LW altogether and give Kaye a show like her old BBC2 one in its place.

The 90s are having a bit of a renaissance at the moment fashion wise. Lets bring some of the decent shows with proper debates back too.
