I think Kim was so upset, and working so hard to keep her distress under control, that she couldn't respond to Linda R's overture, which may have been genuine - I don't know. I do think Linda R got a shock when KW responded the way she did. I think the entire coven were expecting her to crumble into tears and then become verbally and maybe even physically violent and abusive. She didn't - she got upset, made a couple of justified comments and got herself out of the situation.
TBH the whole carry on is so horrible and brutal- this type of TV should be banned. Someone is going to get badly hurt - physically and/or emotionally and there will be nothing that can be done to remedy the matter. There has been physical violence on Gerry Springer, and I think someone was even murdered as a result of something that happened on the show.
When audiences are catcalling and being whipped into a state of hysteria by the production team, it can't be good, can it? I hate to think that if I had been in the LW audience I would have contributed to that horror - a sort of mob mentality takes over.
I hadn't thought about it before, but I wonder what the audience members have been feeling about what happened, and about their own part in it. I wonder if any of them are ashamed, or if they are dismissive about it or what?
