Amazing how 'trolls' now means people who don't agree with the person too
Yes, I've noticed that! As I said before, IF she's had death threats, or abuse to the extent hinted at, why isn't it a police matter?
Bit ironic that the tour was named 'never too late'! Clearly doesn't apply to her 'response'/ 'apology'. Or the tour now. I'm not convinced it would have been successful anyway, even if she had had the chance to plug it endlessly on LW. Let's face it, she smokes like a chimney, has never sung live really and even says herself that Bernie was the singer! It would appear even her most ardent twitter fans can't
muster the devotion to pay for and sit through that for a few hours, even now, so what's changed? And I very much doubt the 25000 who signed the petition would have gone before all this. I think this would have been the same all along, and cancelled back then under the guise of 'how busy she is with LW'. Or some such similar crap.
I said all along she'd pay the 'victim' her and she has. Losing her sister and her marriage break down have been brought up again (as well as hints to an abusive childhood herself from JSP). Which is ironic given her intolence towards KW for daring to bring her past abuse, with the unforgivable 'we know, we got all this before too, she'll cry in a minute' remarks
. CN plays the ultimate 'victim', and KW, the very opposite - a survivor.
But it hasn't worked this time. She will tell herself no doubt the tour is cancelled, not because she can't sing for example, but because all these nasty people sabotaged it. And while she carries on like this, blaming circumstances/ 'trolls', that 'nasty' KW and so on she will never change as that needs introspection, and the ability to be honest with yourself.
More people referring to 'bullying' on here, yet again not one quote to back up or illustrate their point. No one has wrecked her career but herself. Even if you take the line that KW was the 'villain' there, CN was at the very least highly unprofessional in how she handled it. Her job, like any other, will require her to remain professional, and she would have signed to agree to that like the rest of us, or risk her job.
I DO agree however, that women in the public eye are treated less favourably than men in similar circumstances (with the 'lovely' abusive Dan Osborne still in the CBB house as we speak). But that fact does not exonerate CN or the rest of the LW crew, at all.
