New thread and still wondering why there has been no apology or acknowledgement of the incident in Loose Women last week.

So she's learnt nothing and still thinks she can portray herself as the victim....stupid woman.

Still, who cares as long as she's off the telly! Grin

The concert seating plans are online, some of them on this thread, and someone has posted one to her twitter page. The tour was never going to be viable because if you only sell 20 tickets for a venue when you are all over the papers for days, it’s just not going to happen. The promoters want the halls for something that will sell tickets.

OP posts:
whatsyourtalent · 06/09/2018 18:19

yes, thought they had cancelled in the night when they stopped selling tickets.

Took long enough for them to tell us!

obviouslyperfect · 06/09/2018 18:28

Twitter page has many “it’s no ticket sales really” posts and posts querying how she knew about the online abuse if she doesn’t do her own Twitter.

They said it !

The tour wasn't due to happen for over 4 months and had only just been announced. Even if you're upset now, you ought to be fine by then. That doesn't make sense.

But sales weren't just slow but disastrous (I work in theatre). To sell literally a handful in a few days when you have 222,000 Twitter followers is unheard of. And as someone else said on Twitter, all these people tweeting their love and support - why didn't they buy tickets?

But again it gives her another chance to play victim and allow the blame to be placed elsewhere.

Obnoxious son is very quiet.

LittleBookofCalm · 06/09/2018 18:52

she is off the telly Grin good riddance,

obviouslyperfect · 06/09/2018 19:25

Now we wait to see whether LW mention anything tomorrow. Is it on on Fridays?

7657 Ofcom complaints at the moment

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/09/2018 19:40

How many Ofcom complaints does a controversial programme usually get, just as a matter of interest?

I mean - has CN's tatty behaviour caused a lot of complaints - or a LOT of complaints - or even an HUMUNGOUS number of complaints?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/09/2018 19:41

*twatty, not tatty

obviouslyperfect · 06/09/2018 19:56

The Shilpa Shetty vs Jade Goody/Jo O'Meara/Danielle Lloyd race row in CBB 2007 had a record 44,500 complaints to Ofcom apparently.

OP posts:
obviouslyperfect · 06/09/2018 19:56

So somewhere between 1 and 44500!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/09/2018 19:57

Thanks perfect - I wondered. It seemed like a lot of complaints to me, but I wasn't sure how many were usually received.

obviouslyperfect · 06/09/2018 20:30

Ah ha 7811 complaints for LW

Obnoxious son replied to a fan on Twitter saying CN's tour is going ahead next summer Hmm

HoleyCoMoley · 06/09/2018 20:44

In the news, Coleen has cancelled all engagements, won't be on LW and tour postponed, apparently it's all the abuse ans vitriol she's been getting.

SallySideEye · 06/09/2018 20:45

Well I'm sure that'll be packed .

SallySideEye · 06/09/2018 20:48

Don't agree with the levels of abuse she's received but don't dish it out if you can't take it. And don't dish it out comfortably surrounded by family and colleagues while your target is so obviously distressed.

Why is that hard to understand?

HoleyCoMoley · 06/09/2018 20:52

She got upset on morning tvConfused

SallySideEye · 06/09/2018 20:54

I know. Not nice to see either.

southeastdweller · 06/09/2018 21:17

Jon Ronson's So You've Been Publicly Shamed would be very good for reading round about now.

Why would it? He highlighted cases where people had received criticism on social media disproportionate to their mistakes. CN didn't.

AynRandTheObjectivist · 06/09/2018 21:32

Well, that's a matter of opinion.

But even putting that aside, it is a very interesting read about how these sorts of cases develop, the psychology behind both the pile-on shaming and the reaction to them....and the huge difference between how men and women are shamed. Even Max Moseley agreed that he would never have been able to recover from his scandal had he been a woman, even after winning his case.
