New thread and still wondering why there has been no apology or acknowledgement of the incident in Loose Women last week.

ITV (this morning) won’t probably mention it, look how much they mentioned ants drink driving, somebody on Twitter said that the interview on loose women was put on to boost cn tour tickets, I think that’s right

MyBloodyMaltesersAreMelting · 04/09/2018 10:51

and we’re off ......

Justmuddlingalong · 04/09/2018 10:51

Ooh. We're all ears Coleen. 👂👂👂

Justmuddlingalong · 04/09/2018 10:53

Oh you lying bitch. Nothing wrong? We all saw it.

explodingid · 04/09/2018 10:56

Confused No remorse.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 04/09/2018 11:19

We are getting to the point where everyday bad behaviour is excused and explained by medicalising it. Nobody's vain and selfish, they have narcissistic pd. Nobody's a miserable bad tempered old bat but they have an undiagnosed MH disorder. Frankly, some people are vile for a myriad of reasons. A bit more intolerance and fewer 'oh he/shecan't help it' would improve life for everyone. Indulging anti social behaviour encourages more

The difference between spiteful bad-tempered arseholes who claim "it's just my way", and sly manipulative Coleen's cockwombles who stoke the first then stand back ("oh - I'm so shocked - I didn't do a thing and look how I'm being treated " ) is terry obvious to most of us.

KW has a short fuse and they knew that and played on it. She got angry - justifiably - and tbh I think that she behaved very well under the circumstances. She removed herself from provocation.

She's a vulnerable person, but even if she'd been as tough as old boots, she did NOT deserve to be ambushed. I suspect that they hoped she would really lose it, and perhaps even get physically aggressive, putting herself in the wrong. She didn't. She kept control of herself and got out of the situation.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 04/09/2018 11:21

*stoke the fire, not the first - apologies

SchadenfreudePersonified · 04/09/2018 11:21

*also - very obvious - not terry obvious Hmm

SchadenfreudePersonified · 04/09/2018 11:27

We're obviously all the victims of mass hypnosis Justmuddling.

The HypnoToad has struck the entire viewing public and turned us all against St Coleen the Misunderstood!

MrsJackman10 · 04/09/2018 12:03

I'm shocked CN has not apologised and has basically said anyone who thinks she is in the wrong is a troll... There is an interview with her on digital spy. Surely her PR people would have got her to manage this better.

I imagine is she is asked to leave LW it will be done quietly and suggested that she is leaving of her own free will to concentrate on her "music" so that ITV do not have to acknowledge any wrongdoing.

The whole situation really frustrates me as it is playground mean girls getting away with bullying yet again! I can't see any real repercussions for them.

ShatnersWig · 04/09/2018 12:40

Bloody hell. Sorry for the Daily Fail link but.....

www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6129727/Coleen-Nolan-sobs-bullying-Kim-Woodburn-interview.html

She's apologised in tears this morning. May quit showbiz. Still, however, very much saying "the producers wanted it, not me," and denying stuff.

ShatnersWig · 04/09/2018 12:45

A new phrase is entering the lexicon - "Doing a Roxanne" and looking at Twitter and the Daily Fail comments, people aren't buying CN's tears any more than RP's.

Obviously death threats and some of the name calling is not on at all but at the same time, CN has to understand SHE called KW a name and her own Twitter team and son added fuel to the fire themselves. They can all dish it out but don't like taking it.

MrsJackman10 · 04/09/2018 12:48

Actually she apologised if "anyone was offended" by the argument, but no apology for her actions. She claims she didn't say anything as well, does she not realise it is was recorded?? The interview centred on how much the bully trolls have upset her (and obviously wishing death/cancer is disgusting) so it's about HER, and how upset SHE is. She needs to take some responsibility for what happened. It may well have been the producers decision but she is in control of her reactions and her own behaviour!

ShatnersWig · 04/09/2018 12:55

Yep it's all about CN.

ExBbqQueen · 04/09/2018 12:56

She’s so up herself that she can’t see that her behaviour was wrong. Bullies always lay the blame elsewhere. Unlucky for her millions can see it for themselves.

superfly2018 · 04/09/2018 12:57

Get her vile sister out to apologise too. I still have that "well what's your talent? What's your talent then?" Ringing in my ears. Vile bully

wolfywolfy · 04/09/2018 13:04

Hardly an apology was it !

ShatnersWig · 04/09/2018 13:09

It's a PR apology. You use the word apologise - you may even occasionally use the word sorry - but you never say it TO the person concerned. You say it to the viewers who might have been offended.

Already the media are saying she's taking a long break from LW but her own media team have tweeted she'll be there tomorrow. If she does go on there tomorrow, will it just not be mentioned or will they all just fawn round here and sympathise with her emotional interview?

schoolday · 04/09/2018 13:12

So there was stuff going on behind the scenes despite Shane Nolan’s “skipping down the corridor not sacked” bluff and the ignoring. But as you say, no remorse, just tears. Wonder how she would have reacted if someone had sat there saying “she’ll cry now, heard it all before” as she was talking about herself?

If she is quitting show business, why are the tickets for her singing thing still on sale? The venues will just lose money because they will have to give the money back to the public???

ShatnersWig · 04/09/2018 13:13

The equally vile Shane Nolan was giving it some on Twitter this week over how appalling Roxanne was, how Denise Welch was so right on LW this week, how brilliant Emma Willis was interviewing her last night. But he's so, so proud of his mum after her interview this morning, the kindest strongest women (sic) he knows.

schoolday · 04/09/2018 13:20

Classic non applogy, “I apologise to anyone who were (sic) offended by it. It’s been horrendous” 🙄.

Roxanne did a better apology.

Jitters22 · 04/09/2018 13:21

The problem with all these public apologies are that they are always motivated by damage limitation.

In the cases of both Roxanne Pallett and Coleen Nolan it's only when they see the extent of the public backlash against them, that they come out of the woodwork and make their 'apologies' in an attempt to deflect, minimise the damage to themselves, their careers, their earning potential. They really don't give a shit about the person they've caused distress to, and that is so abundantly clear in both cases.

The thing that I find utterly incredible though is how they can deny what can be clearly seen. Coleen Nolan denying she said certain things - when it's there on film. Roxanne Pallett still insisting the 'punches hurt' even though it is clear to see she was barely touched. The extent of their self-delusion even in the midst of their 'apology' is jaw dropping.

I honestly have no sympathy with either of them I'm afraid. They've made a lot of money and good careers out of no great discernible talent that I can see, and if reports are to be believed from some of those who have worked with them / had past dealings with them - neither are particularly likeable people.

Lazypuppy · 04/09/2018 13:29

I've just watched the video and i don't see why everyone is having a go at Coleen?

Kim is horrible, she is constantly angry and picks a fight with everyone. She talks over everyone, repeats herself without saying anything. Is this just how she comes across on tv?

Coleen's sister was awful though

schoolday · 04/09/2018 13:31

At least Holly stated that there had been “a huge reaction to this” (followed by Coleen’s odd “it’s just that, I don’t know what I did wrong” 🧐, odd because it’s been all over the press what she did wrong) which has acknowledged it at last.
