Yes Phil and Sarah did Going Live kids show on Saturday mornings back in the early 90s. Sarah did fill in for Holly once when she was ill and considering she hadn't done TV for a long time she was a natural.

Sarah's lovely. Course I don't know her! But she's just good at what she does which is not enough

I have eventually watched this and I thought the worst thing about it all was nasty Linda piping up!

This has hit a nerve with me. I went to an all-girls school and was horribly bullied. The whole thing on LW reminds me of the popular girls asking the unpopular girl to meet up with them under the pretence of resolving their differences, only to then all gang up on her and goad her to breaking point until she finally breaks and is totally humiliated. I totally don't blame Kim for lashing out. They were vile, all of them. I also don't understand why some think that Linda Robson was the 'nicer' one. I thought she was horrible.

I think it’s all just ratings to them you know. I think they have done that show and talked about their private lives, and those of their families, so much, and tried to shock so much, that they can no longer see beyond audience reaction.

It’s as if JSP is saying “that got ‘em going, job well done” while an elderly lady cries her way off the set.

I wonder if they are baffled at the public reaction or whether it hit them like a ton of bricks what had happened once they were home?

@heartsease68 fair point! I don't watch LW so I don't really know what she's like on it, but for some reason I thought she was a serious journalist and an intelligent woman & would therefore raise the tone of the show.

I must've had her confused with someone else.

I thought LindaRobson was horrible too. Probably because it was a bit more unexpected from her.

Roussette I expected more from her too. I won't look at her in the same way again.

I think Linda Robson got carried away with it all, like she was part of something with the cool girls. But as with the others, no apology, no nothing.

Further down that metro article, it states that both Kim and Coleen were each told that the other wanted to make amends.

I couldn't see anything that suggested Cowleen was told Kim wanted to make amends. Did I miss iyt somewhere?

(even if CN did think that, ether is no excuse for her behaviour)
