Has anyone else just watched Loose Women/Kim Woodburn’s outburst?

It’s a common enough strategy to get archived stuff taken down with a lawyer’s letter mentioning inconsistencies or other violations, I suppose causing a fight to have a thread removed from public view is cheaper!

I know of one tv “celeb” who regularly gets posts about herself taken down. She writes and polices her own Wiki page also. I find it a bit strange!

Lola -there's spoof Kim Woodburn Twitter accounts out there, there's one out there which is horrible, sounds like it's her but sure it's not,even the name's a bit of a giveaway - Kim Woodbine?! FFS, come ON, but the amount of people piling in thinking it's real with their comments "OMG,you were treated terribly" etc - THINK! I worry about people's brains sometimes

Just noticed another Twitter account started that hasn’t been labelled, linked to a non existent cleaning site. Think it’s safe to say by the tweets that it isn’t official lol!

That music is awful, truly awful. I think it's used on XFactor sometimes when it's battle time or whatever.

As for voting with your remote, as I said upthread, turning off will not make a bit of difference, no one will know except you! (unless you have a box attached to your telly and are part of BARB)

Because of this, this thread needs to stay. LW trawl through MN and you can bet your bottom dollar they are gauging public opinion as we type and what source best to go to as far as forums? Mumsnet of course.

I think if CN appears on Monday as normal (she says she is on her twitter feed) it will be a travesty. Hopefully the producers will realise that over the weekend.

I think she will have been advised to make an apology even though she has publicised that she won’t talk about the incident anymore. (And blamed the producers!)

Whether she does or not, who knows. JSP said she was supposed to make peace but she didn’t. It’s another car crash waiting to happen.

Rousette, My point about remote controls earlier was not so much about showing the TV companies they're out of order, but more to do with refusing to sit through shit shows. I will not watch CBB, LW, JKyle, Love Island or any of those those of things, precisely because of this sort of stuff.

But she shouldn't be on the show on Monday, I'm not sure what she can do to be honest. A heartfelt statement would be a start, what she said didn't go anywhere near enough. And the Producer should be doing that too. Whatever she says on Monday is going to be picked to pieces and all of them were complicit in this. They should all go off on a long holiday.

I expected so much more of JSP. LindaR not so much, she comes across as a bit of a drip to me.

I suspect that LW have not issued a statement because their position is indefensible. What can they say that wouldn't get shot down in flames as being a blatant PR exercise or lies? "We don't condone bullying in any form?" Yeah, right.

The more I think about it the worse I feel about it. I did watch LW at lunchtimes because it's on +1 when I get in from work and eat my lunch. I want something I can switch off mentally with.
I notice that they are always quick to apologise if a guest makes the slightest non pc comment or very mild swear word. How on earth can the producers justify what happened on that episode when they are so on it most of the time regarding swearing etc?
