Intrigued by a post upthread about Linda Nolan’s husband being a thief as well, I have been reading old stories about them.

Came across this by Denise Welch

Colleen Nolan is the queen of passive aggressive. She's also thick as so the combination doesn't make for a very nice person.
Linda is clearly a first class bitch with the whole "what's your talent?"stuff- what grown woman says that. Disgraceful.

As a side note, two friends who have suffered very badly with depression over the years have each told me that the first thing that the drs asked them was if they had ever used cannabis regularly, as apparently there's a huge correlation.
But that's not to excuse the irresponsible, tactless and hurtful manner in which CN mentioned it.

In the same vein as the no apology, no mention by the LW team, Coleen Nolan is promoting her “big news” as if nothing has happened. Not only is this goading the public, but I think it smacks of desperation. Whatever it is she wants to get it out there and talked about so whoever is paying her got it doesn’t back out!

If it’s standing in for holly willoughby while she is in the jungle, or a tour, or anything in the public eye, the bosses really ought to rethink.

We won’t care that her “big news” teaser doesn’t come through.

I dont normally watch LW but I watched the clips after reading this thread and I agree it was very sad viewing.

This is so true my teenage dd told me recently that there is a girl in her class who is very mean but dd feels sorry for her as she has been very ill and she understands that this might have affected her, so she always stays out of any talk involving this girl.

Thats a bit of empathy and compassion from a teenage girl that was sadly lacking on this show.

Maybe CN's big news is she has talent after all other than going Ooo Ooo Ooo in the background of a very mediocre pop song 30/40 years ago?

OH my god do you really think she could be standing in for Holly on This Morning? Phil Schofield likes her. Surely ITV would have to change their plans now?

I doubt it, she's like Nadia Sawalha in that she struggles to read the autocue and breathe talk at the same time
