Has anyone else just watched Loose Women/Kim Woodburn’s outburst?

Rylan read a few words from her.

Sad
OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 31/08/2018 23:16

I think that's quite ambiguous from Rylan, actually. Could be taken either way.

sweethope · 31/08/2018 23:19

I think it shows that vile bullies haven't a clue what bullying is. It doesn't have to be physical, it doesn't have to mean being loud and shouty. It's often exactly like what CN and her cronies were like on LW. Every single one of them, but its all spectacularly backfired on them.

Coleen Nolan must have thought that everyone was going to see the "vile witch" as she so gracefully described a 75 year old fragile woman, instead we saw her, her sister and the rest of them showing their true nasty colours.

Kim Woodburn thanks fans for support in message sent to Celebrity Big Brother BOTS

BOTS host Rylan Clark-Neal read a note she had sent into the team, and read to the camera on her behalf.

The message said: ‘I’m so sorry not to join you guys on the show, I feel like I need a bit of time with my hubby.

I want to thank everyone who’s shown their support on social media over the last few days. All the messages from all the lovely crew at Big Brother.’

I’ve been shown some of the messages and I’m overwhelmed with your kind words and support, you’ll never know how much I appreciate them. Thank you so, so much.

‘See you on the show soon, lots of love, Kim.’

Further down that metro article, it states that both Kim and Coleen were each told that the other wanted to make amends. That puts the producers in an even worse light.

canofdietcoke · 31/08/2018 23:34

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess but as many people have mentioned on here and the internet, it was said to Kim, on air, in front of CN, that she, CN, wanted to make amends. CN could have objected then. She didn’t.

canofdietcoke · 31/08/2018 23:39

No one said to Kim “you have come on the show to make amends”. They asked her why she had and her honest answer, for the money, was treated with scorn by CN!

Why? It’s true!

Nolan, she of the benefit cheat family, who talks about buying her son a prostitute because no one will have sex with him for a living (she talks about it for a living, not him having no sex for a living!) dares to sneer at that?

beingthere · 31/08/2018 23:50

There has to be consequences for their behaviour.

Why has there been no apology? And CN has said herself in her Mirror’s “blame everyone else” interview, that is the last she will say on the matter. So there won’t be one from her at all.

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 31/08/2018 23:51

CN could have objected then. She didn’t.

What, you think she was going to say, "No, I didn't say I wanted to make up?!"

My point was, that the producers clearly conspired and engineered this whole debacle by seemingly tricking both of them into appearing on the show. Neither of them wanted to do it, which became very clear as soon as Kim arrived on stage.

canofdietcoke · 31/08/2018 23:53

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess

Of course. Why wouldn’t she tell the truth?

Instead she reduced a woman to tears and sneered at her abuse.

AlphabetSoupcon · 31/08/2018 23:56

CN wasn’t tricked! She knew Kim was going on and she and her sister had planned abusive remarks!

Have you watched the clip? JSP says over and over than Coleen wanted to make up. She had plenty of opportunity to say she didn’t.

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 31/08/2018 23:58

she and her sister had planned abusive remarks!

You don't know that at all! Stick to the facts, please.

AlphabetSoupcon · 01/09/2018 00:01

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess

You think the “What’s your talent?” wasn’t planned?! It came out of nowhere, several smug times, with no context. It was planned.

explodingid · 01/09/2018 00:10

Agree Aphabet. I thought it was odd and completely out of context.

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 01/09/2018 00:23

Linda (Nolan) was saying that Kim appeared on TV to be controversial because she had no talent. Kim queried that and said that remark showed how stupid she was, and then Linda expanded with, "Show me your talent. What's your talent?"

Look, I'm not defending any of this shit. But let's at least be accurate about what was said by whom and not make stuff up to fit a narrative.

MarthasGinYard · 01/09/2018 00:25

'Linda expanded with, "Show me your talent. What's your talent?"'

Rich coming from her

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 01/09/2018 00:31

True, but that's what happens when things degenerate into a slanging match. People lose their rag, and both sides did in this case. Kim gave out some hefty insults in this unsavoury episode too.

sweethope · 01/09/2018 00:36

Linda's talent was nothing more than being a backing singer.

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 01/09/2018 00:39

Well, to be fair, you need to be quite a good singer to be able to do that. Which is a talent. And like them or not, the Nolans were popular in their day and quite successful.

MarthasGinYard · 01/09/2018 00:40

'Well, to be fair, you need to be quite a good singer to be able to do that. '

Not really

OhDearGodLookAtThisMess · 01/09/2018 00:43

Yes really. You're not going to get a gig if you're tone deaf.

AlphabetSoupcon · 01/09/2018 00:43

You don’t know it WASNT planned! To me it’s obvious. Linda Robson’s “Why are you so angry?” also.

As for Kim’s insults, it was nothing compared to what she got. The music she came onto was bullying.

Fucking hell!

AlphabetSoupcon · 01/09/2018 00:46

Kim has talent as a presenter.

They were bullying her.
