Has anyone else just watched Loose Women/Kim Woodburn’s outburst?

Linda saying Kim has no talent was uncalled for. Her sister Coleen's only "talent " was going "Ooo Ooo Ooo" in the background of The Nolans!

Watching KW's appearance on LW, I understood her reaction. I understood her trying to prove her point. I understood her sense of injustice. She's had to look out for herself since being a young girl and that never leaves you. She doesn't need pity, but understanding of her behaviour.

But she is uses that argument as an excuse to be vile to others

An excuse or an explanation of why she behaves like that though?

She wants pity.

I don't think she does, hence the strong, fierce veneer. I think she wants understanding, not pity. Yet every time she tried to talk, elaborate and explain she was talked over and dismissed. No attempt was made to try and understand her side. That would be infuriating for anyone, let alone someone who clearly has problems with emotional regulation.

She needs serious help if she's to have a happy retirement.

I agree really, and now she has been re-traumatised in the way she was, she will need even more. I hope she gets it. She says she has a good heart underneath it all and I believe her, and can see that. I hope she finds happiness one day, I really do.

KW needs is someone to advise her to stop going on tv shows and making her life public. Surely she doesn't need the money that much.

Thank you for this link - having just watched it, I think that KW was remarkably restrained in her response to the Nolans' provocation - I would have gone round to them and kicked the shit out of them!

JSP behaved abominably letting them goad KW, LR was a patronising little shit and I've lost a lot of respect for her - I used to think she was a very pleasant woman, but she's obviously a coward who just wanted to be on what she thought was the winning side.

The Nolans came across as a pair of smug, goody, vindictive, spiteful talentless cowbags.

KW may have lost her rag - I don't blame her - but she removed herself from the vile provocation with more dignity than many could have achieved, and that stopped things getting even worse. It was obvious that CowLeen was gunning for her and was not going to stop until she'd got a reaction - the more extreme the better.

"I've sold Billion records - I think that shows my talents" - Oh puhleese, Linda - you got lucky hanging onto your late sister's coat-tails. And now you're milking it.

I hope these talentless, dishonest baggages crash and burn.

Sorry PippaPenny, I didn't mean to imply that `YOU condoned bullying, though I can see that I worded it clumsily. I was referring really to the general response from 'CN' supporters' on twitter and elsewhere - for example, the comments made by the (vile) Shane Junior, and comments from those who bullied her in the BB house - that twatty little former strictly dancer (James Jordan?) referring to it as 'TV Gold', and similar snide comments from the revolting Nicola McClean who also goaded and bullied her in a very similar snidey way to CN and co.

I agree she needs advising to step away from public life - she clearly isn't emotionally resilient enough to take some of the vitriol aimed her way.

With regards to not needing the money, I think in the past she has spoken about the awful poverty she lived through and how she always fears she will end up in the same situation again. I can see how she may find it hard to turn work down, especially at the amounts that are probably offered.

I won't be watching loose women again until CN is not on the panel anymore. Think I'd rather watch Katie price!

There is a poll of over 125,000 votes somewhere, will try and look for the link, of which 90% think the programme ought to be taken off air.

Whatever the minatory view on this board, and it’s a few posters only, the majority of the board and public who have an opinion think the LW panel are bullies.

KW - for the sake your health, step right away from the cameras and get appropriate treatment. But specifically stay away from the cunt that is CN.

I did a bit of browsing yesterday and found so many stories about bullying on LW. It's almost as though they want to cultivate that edgy cool feel, the fourteen year olds smoking at the back of the bus vibe. That's the best they aspire to.

It doesn't work like that.

Understanding her behaviour doesn't make it right. I think she's been brewing for a long time, and would assume lots have gone on in the back ground, maybe work dried up which she rightfully is angry about. She has said Coleen was pleasant in the house, but has since watched the footage and saw she was two faced.

Why wasn't she offered help when she left BB house? They must have known how difficult it was for her and how she was obviously angry during that time.

It's been 18 months and you'd think someone some where would've helped her reasses her time in here positively. That doesn't appear to have happened.

It was a bad move in ITVs part as effectively this argument is 'old' news albeit rather still hugely effecting KW.

Putting her on that panel, out numbered was grossly off the mark.

Of course not! And nor is KW beating anyone even though she was physically, emotionally and mentally abused as a child.

But anyone, man or woman, subjected to such cruelty as a child would be defensive as an adult - and that defensiveness could well be OTT because their emotions are arrested at the stage they were when they were abused - and children DO react like that because they don't know any other way to respond.

Kim's early life has left her with three choices when she's attacked (the same 3 choices we all have) fight, flight or freeze. As a child, she had no option - parents were bigger and stronger and more powerful; she froze, and when she could she fled. As an adult, she responds by "fighting" - verbally. She is aware that she over-reacts (or did she? - I wouldn't have taken that shite either) and tried to explain why she does, and how bullying affects her - they immediately started the eyeballing and muttering crap. OF COURSE SHE REACTED!

That's what they wanted.
