I watched and found her manipulative and very false
Thing is PippaPenn - I saw that too, yes, but I also saw the scared, vulnerable 76 year old lady behind that veneer, and had some sort of understanding of WHY she behaves and uses the coping mechanisms she does given her past, and felt immense compassion for her, followed by real anger that she had been put in that situation and set up, belittled and ganged up against in the way she was.
I saw a lady who was hurting and desperately needed validation of the bulling she DID receive in the BB house, not to be provoked, mocked and reduced to tears on live TV.
I think too that many others saw what I did too, hence the response it has got. Really, I'd call that progress, especially in the context of mental health awareness and a move away from the stigma that has surrounded it for far too long.
And just in case KW is reading any comments - Kim, you are bloody great, some of us get you, we can see what people are doing and have done to you. We have seen the bullying, and it disgusts us, and we too will keep shouting until we are heard. Bullying, in any form, needs to be recognised for what it is and wiped out. It has no place in a civilised society and needs to stop. As does people denying, minimising and condoning it.
