Just woke up, on the sofa. Where I had apparently fallen asleep as soon as I made this thread

Feel very wrong of mouth, and distinctly brackish on the inside.

Lost count of margaritas and beers- not been a drinker since I was pregnant (3 years ago!) I seem to have made up for it in one night.

Am a single parent and rarely go out - in fact this is the second time since DS was born, I’ve been out for “a girls night”

I recall there was dancing on a table

And now I have to go and collect DS, and take him out for lunch with great grandparents and cousins

I do indeed love you all, but do NOT love myself this morning

It’s hitting me. In waves.

Have to collect baby at 9. Definitely can’t drive. Jumping in the bath with coffee, water and paracetamol for half and hour, and hoping it will be a magic cure...

I know it's probably the last thing you want to do but going out and getting fresh air always helps me. I take a couple of ibuprofen, wait about half an hour until they start to kick in and then go out and have a bit of a walk. It does the trick.

Who is looking after baby? Can you 'fess up and ask for an extension while you get a couple more hours?

Yes can you ask the grandma for a few more hours?! Bacon sandwich and sleep would do you the world of good.

Darling DM is working from home and has told me to take my time going to collect. Won’t be able to be late enough to go back to sleep, but can hopefully quell the nausea... (not envy)
