My parents bought home some foreign booze from their holiday. Drank a load, couldn’t remember getting home, passed out in bed. Not joking when I say it took me FIVE DAYS to get over! Five! I was horrid to my poor husband too.
That sense of shame when I woke up was worse than the hangover. I’m not touching alcohol again! Glad you survived!

I love the idea as it absolves me of some guilt.. though alas, I fear I simply drank my body weight in tequila and modelo and effectively poisoned myself.

Have managed to do food shop and take baby to the park. Now back at the supermarket for everything I forgot first time baby is asking for “chick chick an’ abovada” for tea, which sounds like an excellent idea- so think am over the worst.

Have found burst blood vessels above my eyes from retching, so wearing dark glasses. In the fridge aisle at Tesco ...

hello all waves still alive and still faintly queasy.

Now two days teetotal and think this may be the life for me (Sunday afternoon longings for a lager shandy notwithstanding).

DM also recovered from 40 hours of rampaging, gorgeous two year old.

I looked at my online bank account today and ... yowza. Margaritas are not as cheap as I remember them. This Sheep is on bread and water for the foreseeable.

Come back and see me all of you - this may be the place I return to for periodic humblings when I need them. And thank you all for being so sweet.
