DH and I were just discussing the weeing in the shower thread: he thinks it’s disgusting, I don’t. Not that I’ve ever done it.

Anyway, I then posited the suggestion that many men choose the shower as a wank venue - and why not? It’s private, the evidence is washed away, and one emerges with a nice clean member.

He was appalled by this. Again, thinks it’s gross, and a complete myth.

I disagree. I’m sure I recall several men in the past either telling me or inferring that they like to bash the bishop in the shower.

When I worked at a boarding school the cleaners once complained because of the quantities of jizz they were having to wipe off the shower walls in the boys' boarding houses.

I expect at boarding school the shower would be the only place they could do this.

1. Speaking as a chap, the trouble with knocking one out in the shower is that jizz doesn't rinse away easily like piss does. Any bloke who does this needs to be cleaning up properly afterwards, otherwise it really is gross.

They don't. I can't do it standing up so would never happen in a shower for me. I think it's fairly common - would guess about 60-70% but very difficult to really know.

I wee in the shower if I get caught short, rather than step out mid-wash.

I first used to do it post- birth, as weeing was less painful if I directed the shower in my bits at the same time (I couldn’t quite work out how to sit on the loo and pour water from a jug, as was advised!). After that it never struck me as a problem, as it gets washed down the drain and is therefore hygienic.

I’m sure I’ll be the only one to admit it, but many more probably do it!
