Cracking one out in the shower

DH and I were just discussing the weeing in the shower thread: he thinks it’s disgusting, I don’t. Not that I’ve ever done it.

Anyway, I then posited the suggestion that many men choose the shower as a wank venue - and why not? It’s private, the evidence is washed away, and one emerges with a nice clean member.

He was appalled by this. Again, thinks it’s gross, and a complete myth.

I disagree. I’m sure I recall several men in the past either telling me or inferring that they like to bash the bishop in the shower.

Wise folk of Mumsnet, what say you?

It sounds pretty grim for grown men to do that. I can understand teenage boys doing it. Not all men are rampantly sexual.

The thing is - wee has a very strong smell that is difficult to get rid of. Think about how well you clean your toilet, only to still get a faint whiff of urine every now and again, due to the fact you may have missed a bit that sprayed somewhere. So your shower could end up smelling like a toilet?!

With that in mind, I'd be less bothered about jizzing in the shower (if I had to choose) and it's a 'no no' to wees...

Ex used to do this. I thought it was grim. Though hard to know which was worse after learning he preferred to wank into the toilet, as that was more convenient.

If the latter is "normal" male behaviour I don't think I want to live in this world, so please nobody tell me.

Not just men. I thought most ladies would also have discovered the benefits of a thorough “wash” with the shower head?

DH doesn’t wank in the shower because he says he can’t stay standing up, yet his preferred place to wank is into the bathroom sink, so he must be standing up for that?! I blame boarding school for this horrible habit...

Really can’t see what is grim about wanking somewhere that’s private, clean and gets washed away straight after. In fact, it’s probably the most logical place to wank!

My dh does. Hes just had the snip and needs to knock 20 out. He proudly told me coming out the shower 19 now! Didn't bother me

I do! So does DH. Sometimes the hot water gets me in the mood so I just go for it.

I just asked DH - he winced and said, "Ooh, no, that would hurt because of the lube being washed off. And soap would sting."

Semen goes clumpy and sticky in water, plus I'm on water meter... Not to mention the gas used to hear it up.

Far more economical/sensible places to crack one out.

Definitely happens here! Teenage ds spends rather long in there every day sometimestwice and dp has told me he has done it.

I know that dd and I both wee in the shower. My shower is spotless as I clean it after every use. Water makes me need to wee.

Better than my neighbour who pissed in her kitchen sink at a recent soirée. Only a few of us left, she was wrecked, climbed on a chair, lifted her dress up and done a wee.
We all went home 5 minutes later.

There were no dishes in there but I thought it was absolutely disgusting. She didn't even clean it afterwards

The surveys suggest most men do not masturbate standing up, or do so only very rarely, so whilst the bathroom might be more common - although surveys also suggests only about a quarter of men probably ever do it there - I suspect it's more likely to be seated.

Obviously though, the bathroom and shower may be the only place guaranteed privacy in a house with kids in, so I suspect that among men in that situation would be more common.

My ex husband certainly did as I may or may not have been there. Our shower had a nice built in seat for all sorts of activities.
