I was friendly with a lady on our estate who had a daughter same age as my son.....

I was poorly in bed and the phone rang,I recognised the number of the neighbour....but I didnt answer it.

A few minutes later the door bell went and I could see on the camera that it was the girl. A few minutes later the phone rang again,then the door bell again and again went on for over half an hour......

Next time I saw my neighbour she said she had been trying to get in touch because her daughter wanted to go to the local fair and she needed a friend to go with .The mother insisted it was someone in the neighbourhood because she would give the kids a lift down but another parent would have to bring them back....she wanted a glass of wine because she'd had a hard week.

What makes this worse is I had cancer at the time and was going through chemo.......she had popped round the week before and I had told her I would be in bed resting most of the time as the chemo was making me very ill and tired....how I didnt shout in her stupid selfish face I dont know,lets just say the entittled behaviour continued,I could write a book.....she is no longer classed as a friend

2 local women tried to use me as free childcare during the school summer holidays by just sending their kids round. At the same time.

Palegreenstars · 27/07/2018 13:01

Cleanasawhistle that’s awful. Bryon CF to downright arsehole I would say

Katinkka · 27/07/2018 13:06

My ndn once asked to borrow a pair of pj's. Thinking her washer was broken I loaned her some. Black satin ones (many years ago!)
She returned them laundered, all good.
Some time later she asked to borrow again, those specific ones.

AS HER BF LIKED HER TO WEAR THEM DURING SEX!!
Told her very calmly she was most welcome to keep them!!

chickenowner · 27/07/2018 17:41

Yeah assaulting a shop worker is really funny. Confused

witchofzog · 27/07/2018 17:43

Ooh I love a cf thread Smile

LongSummerDays · 27/07/2018 17:52

@macattack of course you did. Hmm

Fluffyears · 27/07/2018 17:54

@macattack I smell shite!

macattack52 · 27/07/2018 17:59

@Fluffyears @LongSummerDays on my dm's life, it's true. It's as real as the nose on your faces. I am not getting in to a discussion about my reply, I know that it happened, and that's all that matters. I have better things to do than tell tall tales on mn. It happened.

When my eldest daughter was at Day Nursery she was due to leave in then July and move into Reception that September. We had a day trip which I am some of the other parents helped out on. Met one boy’s parents for the first time on the coach, nice couple, had a short chat, discovered both our kids were going to be at the same Primary and that was it.

The week after we’d left (Summer Holidays) I had an email from the Nursery manager as the other parents had contacted her to pass on their number for me to call them. I assumed it was for a play date or similar and called.

They actually wanted me to do their childcare care for them from September as they do researched Childminders and it was expensive. They asked if they could drop their son to me each morning at 0715 and I’d watch him and walk him to school with my daughter (as I’d be going anyway) at 0900. I reminded them I worked full time and often worked night shifts and on those days my daughter stays at my Mum’s, she gets her ready and I go straight there from work and walk her to school. They asked if on those days perhaps by could drop him to my Mums instead. They had never met her and only me once! This was proposed as 5 days a week long term. But the Mum did say she’d make sure we each got a bottle
of wine every Friday to say thank you! Hmm

SleepWarrior · 27/07/2018 18:00

Macattack took the request for cf 'stories' very literally! Grin

macattack52 · 27/07/2018 18:02

@SleepWarrior it is not a joke. I did. I have a short fuse. I am not joking. Please do not tell me an event in my life didn't happen.

Fluffyears · 27/07/2018 18:03

@macattack did ye Aye? Asvwe say in Glasgow. Utter bollocks and if it’s true you committed assault and danage to lush stock. I still think it’s shite.

macattack52 · 27/07/2018 18:05

@Fluffyears you are entitled to your wrong opinion. Please do not tell me an event in my life did not happen.

Fluffyears · 27/07/2018 18:06

Ok but it didn’t!

Stirner · 27/07/2018 18:07

@macattack52 @Fluffyears - It's true I was the bath bomb

Fluffyears · 27/07/2018 18:08

@stirner Grin

macattack52 · 27/07/2018 18:08

@Fluffyears I think I would know. It happened, and how would you know?

Stirner · 27/07/2018 18:10

As I quite clearly stated @macattack52 I was the bath bomb. I remember everyone clapping too.

macattack52 · 27/07/2018 18:12

No-one clapped, my cousin was mortified and my uncle was shell shocked.
