Read an article/interview Meatloaf did and he was saying that he won’t ever tour again, can barely get out of a chair etc

AIBU to listen to his music and be upset I’m not going to see him in concert ever again?! I’m 24 and only got to see him once! Sad

What singers / bands make you feel that way? Smile

David Bowie. I will never get over not seeing him live Flowers

notacooldad · 24/07/2018 17:39

I never got to see The Cramps.
I had a ticket for them but disaster struck the day I was due to see them and I was ill for over 6 months.

PurpleMac · 24/07/2018 17:45

I had a stomach bug the night I was supposed to see Linkin Park last year so had to miss it. Chester Bennington was dead a week later. I am still heartbroken.

KinkyAfro · 24/07/2018 17:46

Freddie Mercury, best singer there ever was....ever

twilightcafe · 24/07/2018 17:47

George Michael 😥

GallicosCats · 24/07/2018 17:49

I saw Richard Griffiths on stage when he did Equus in the West End with Daniel Radcliffe. He was masterly. I was so glad I had seen him live when he died some years later.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 24/07/2018 17:50

Prince. Saw him 3 times, gutted I won't again

Snoopey · 24/07/2018 17:50

Scott Weiland 😢

User5trillion · 24/07/2018 17:52

I saw meatloaf on his last tour (almost 10 yrs ago) but have come to a place of acceptance Winkthat I will never see him tour again, he is 70 now so I get it but I would definitely love to.

eggsandwich · 24/07/2018 17:52

Prince saw him twice and Michael Jackson.

PolaDeVeboise · 24/07/2018 17:53

Definitely George Michael, it still hurts when I think about not seeing him again - especially when a big concert or event is announced and I know his name wont be on the bill. Sad

Claredemoon · 24/07/2018 17:54

Amy Winehouse Sad

MyFavouritePlace · 24/07/2018 17:54

George Michael for me too

RusholmeRuffian · 24/07/2018 17:55

Joe Strummer

TopShagger · 24/07/2018 17:57

I wasn't aware of this. It is sad. As a kid growing up he was one of my favourites, and he still is. I never did get around to seeing him live in concert. Wish I had.

Those were the rights of spring and we did everything there was salvation every night....

BlitzingBlaze · 24/07/2018 17:58

David Bowie
George Michael
Joe Strummer
The Cramps

Add to that The Ramones

SlowlyShrinking · 24/07/2018 17:59

The Fall

Singlenotsingle · 24/07/2018 18:02

I went to see Meatloaf a few times back in the day. He's not well now. I think it's his spine. See him on Facebook. Superb performer.

MsRinky · 24/07/2018 18:02

The Fall is a weird one, because I never really thought of myself as much of a fan, then when Mark died I realised I'd been to see them at least twice a year for the last quarter of a century...

I'm very sad that I'll never see Prince or Leonard Cohen again, but I was privileged to see them when I did and I'll never forget it.

lifechangesforever · 24/07/2018 18:03

Prince Sad

SheepAreSuper · 24/07/2018 18:08

I'm with you OP.
I saw him in 1994 (I was 12!) and again in 2013.
I'd have loved to have seen him in Vegas.
It makes me sad that I'll never see him again.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/07/2018 18:08

Freddie Mercury, best singer there ever was....ever

Agreed - saw them in concert
And Status Quo (but now we have no more Rick Parfitt)

EnglishRose13 · 24/07/2018 18:09

Meatloaf was the first concert I ever went to. He was amazing but you could see he was struggling.

Very sad though.

scaryteacher · 24/07/2018 18:09

I will always regret that I never saw Queen or Dire Straits live.

Phosphorus · 24/07/2018 18:10

I missed Nick Cave in Dublin.

I wonder if I'll get another chance.
