AIBU?
I think she looked absolutely ridiculous in that red dress when she greeted Trump at Blenheim palace.

She looked out of place and was perhaps trying to compete with melania trump...obviously a formal event but that dress was a bad choice and didn't suit her AT ALL.
The slit....🙈

What about the suits that any of the men were wearing? Are you going to bitch about those as well?

Phosphorus · 13/07/2018 06:42

I doubt Theresa May gave a second thought to anything except Brexit all night.

I don't suppose what Trump's wife would wear even entered her head.

I thought the dress was nice, and appropriate.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:42

Just because you don’t like her witch you clearly don’t doesn’t mean you get to comment on what she wears

This is why women are never taken seriously it’s not about what they say of course but yes let’s worry about her skirts what the fuck else would you have her wear to a formal dinner a pants suit like Merkel Hmm

AlbertaSimmons · 13/07/2018 06:42

It's not the dress. It's the scaffolding beneath. She has terrible posture and absolutely no muscle tone. Her body reveals that she is someone who is badly nourished, under-exercised and doesn't sleep properly. In short, she has an unhealthy lifestyle. That's why the dress (and the rest of her very expensive wardrobe) looks bad.

positivepixie · 13/07/2018 06:43

FFS. Our PM meets POTUS at a critical time to discuss our nation's economic future and this is what you have to say?

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/07/2018 06:44

I think she looked fabulous.

ButDoYouAvocado · 13/07/2018 06:45

I remember when she became PM the papers were full of the fact she had worn leopard print heels that week.

Its so much harder being a woman in the public eye than a man. Just let her get on with it.

YABU

AlbertaSimmons · 13/07/2018 06:45

There are plenty of men in the public eye about whom one could say the same thing - Boris Johnson for one, but not only politicians of a particular side.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:45

And actually I think TM dresses very well given her age and standing she actually mixes the line between fashion and bunnies very well I never looked and thought that’s out of place on a world stage unlike JC who rarely irons his cloths won’t wear a fucking tie and often looks like my old geogrpghy teacher

restingbemusedface · 13/07/2018 06:46

The dress itself was ok (although the split was very high and I enjoyed John snows
Live commentary) but agreed her posture is just awful, as is trumps.

Murphystrikeback · 13/07/2018 06:46

What Pixie said, does what she wears - we’ll or otherwise - matter. Can’t imagine a thread like this about Blair, Brown or Cameron!

AlbertaSimmons · 13/07/2018 06:46

And of course Trump himself. All his money, his wife to advise him and he's shockingly badly turned out.

Her body reveals that she is someone who is badly nourished, under-exercised and doesn't sleep properly.

Probably because she's too busy running a country to go to the gym. Hmm You'd be stressed too if you were a Prime Minister.

My sister looks awful in dresses she is a very butch lady she is not under fees never heard such shit in my life

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/07/2018 06:47

What positivepixie said. I hope you were all as critical of Cameron, Blair, Brown and Major on sartorial and other aesthetic grounds.

AlbertaSimmons · 13/07/2018 06:48

Prince Harry - he's another one - scruffy mess.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:49

Just show how people will scape the barrel and are willing to play the man and not the ball when they don’t like some she was hardly in jeans and tees and that would of been a issue not because she’s a women because it wouldn’t of fitted the occasion

AlbertaSimmons · 13/07/2018 06:50

I didn't get all that from the dress MeToo, I got it from observing her over time. As I said, it's NOT the dress.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:50

Op
How do you think Jeremy Corbyn ranks in terms of dressing for the occasion Hmm

sexnotgender · 13/07/2018 06:50

What a horrible thread.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:51

AlbertaSimmons

Your a loon tbh and as she has diabetes I would imagine she watches her diet more carefully than most on here

goodbyeeee · 13/07/2018 06:52

Jesus Christ.

Metoodear · 13/07/2018 06:52

sexnotgender

What a horrible thread.

This is clearly about the op issues with the Tory’s very thinly valed

P3onyPenny · 13/07/2018 06:52

What a real shitty and sexist thread.

I thought Milania's yellow bat dress was ridiculous but I guess she has youth so is beyond reproach.Hmm

Frankly I'm in awe of TM. Knuckling down and getting on with sorting a shitty mess she never voted for and others have just swanned off from yet again. Having to deal with the revolting Trump even when he does his level best to destroy anything that doesn't fit his desires for the US.If she was a man her strength would be commented on not her dress.

As you started the thread I think she looks fab and I like the dress. A strong woman comfortable in her own skin. Red suits her.Think she knocks spots off Milania and her insipid offering.
