Hairless foofs

Ginismyfriendx · 06/07/2018 01:02

So can't sleep and watching naked attraction (please do judge me, I deserve it)
Are completely bare foofs a thing now? Having had a nasty experience of an ingrown hair from shaving bikini line (which required anti-biotics) why go through that? Nevermind the faff. Who want's an evening shadow on their lady bits?
All for a bit of pruning, but uprooting?

I personally felt more dirty without hair than with. It felt itchy and weird. Got way more spots too.

Definitely something to do once and never again.

@SoddingUnicorns

At first I thought Vulvasaur was a genuine Pokémon since that's what I was thinking whenever I heard 'vulva'. An evolution of Bulbasaur. So I google imaged it...

Hahaha a whole thread on pubes!
This has Made my day 😂😂
I do go for the bald eagle to be fair!
The 70s rockstar hairdo just doesn't tickle
My pickle I'm afraid!
Hate the thought of a man with pubes in his teeth 🤭😜 (or woman if that's your preference) 😁

HelenaDove · 07/07/2018 14:09

"there was one episode where both women slept with the guys and came back upset because the guys went cold on them afterwards. One thought she had a future with him. They got naked on tv, slept with the guys right away and then were surprised.."

Well i think that most women would be upset to find out that the bloke that theyve just slept with is a misogynist who holds them to different standards just because they have a vagina.

ferrier · 07/07/2018 14:57

Nope - no insecurities here thank you! I wear my hair how I like and don't change it for anyone!
It's rather disingenuous to suggest that 'I feel dirty' is not very close to 'it is dirty'.

Lalalala3 · 07/07/2018 15:16

It's rather disingenuous to suggest that 'I feel dirty' is not very close to 'it is dirty'.

So nobody can voice that they genuinely feel that way when they don't wash their sheets/towels that often/don't shave or whatever, for dear of those that do the opposite will take it as an insult?

I don't get it. I feel dirty if I don't have a shower in the morning. I know people that don't feel dirty and are fine to get on with it - I don't think they are dirty. I think I just feel dirtier easier, and swear more than them Blush

Lalalala3 · 07/07/2018 15:16

Not dear, fear.

It matters not whether you’re bald or bushy...you will all reach an age when hair no longer grows on your chuff and instead sprouts cheerfully from your chin and toes.

ToftyAC · 07/07/2018 17:36

Regrowth for me is a little spiky, but I use hair removal cream rather than shaving or waxing. But never get ingrown hairs and I have hydradenditis suppurativa, so have be careful.

Rach5ll · 07/07/2018 17:41

Have you been living on the moon?!??

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 07/07/2018 17:41

@Lalalala3

See, I don’t shower every morning... I bath every night before bed.
And yet you saying you shower otherwise you feel dirty doesn’t leave me feeling insulted at all!! It’s like magic!

libbyb · 07/07/2018 17:49

Lalala - I get what you are saying - if it's something that you do, every day, you feel that you have missed out on your regime - can you walk around all day without cleaning your teeth without thinking that are offensive, must have bad breath, therefore until you have had your shower you don't feel 'ready' to face the world!! I'm into deep cleaning regularly, but not irradicating!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/07/2018 18:03

I agree with Yearofthewoman.

There's pressure on women and girls to be hairless whether they want to be or not. I know I will get shouted down for this (because I have been before), but I also think that it is disturbing in a not-quite-paedo-but-not-quite-adult sort of way. It is (yet another) way for men to control women's bodies - in some way. by implying that pubic hair is "dirty" or "masculine"

A lot of women here claim they like the feeling (fair enough), that it is more hygienic (rubbish! it is less so), freeing (whatever floats your boat) etc. I disagree. I wouldn't want to be with a man (or woman) who insisted on me being genitally hairless.

However, each to their own.

I've never met a man who said he liked hairless foofs. Maybe that's cos we / I am over 50 and it was never a thing in our yoof.

TornFromTheInside · 07/07/2018 18:08

Hair is more hygienic as it helps to trap air there. It actually serves a purpose.
It's definitely the influence of porn and it affects men too. There's a real societal objection to body hair these days. Whether that will change, I don't know.

As a bloke, it's never mattered to me. If it's that important to a man, then it's not you that matters, it's your body. Good luck with that once you get older.

speakout · 07/07/2018 18:15

Shaving before birth used to be routine, it would be performed in hospitals before birth to all women in the 40s/50s/60s.

However it in now known that it actually increased the rate of post partum infection.
So the practice was stopped, and WHO advise against it,

As it stands I am actually showering both morning and night as I'm sweating in this heat Blush but again, if you're only washing once a day then I don't think you are dirty! I'm just a sweaty disaster Grin

LuluJakey1 · 07/07/2018 18:29

I have had a hairless foof a few times and found it itchy and sweaty. I keep mine mowed and trimmed round the edges. DH does the same with his.
Do most women really have foofs, legs and armpits waxed? Hair extensions? Nail extensions? Fake tan, botox and fillers? I don't have any of those things. I couldn't be bothered and most of them look fake and naff.

ConstanceAndTheElephant · 07/07/2018 18:42

Quite honestly, I feel dirty if I DON’T have hair down there. It feels slimy and sweaty and oh so prickly. I love my full, untrimmed bush and so does my husband. He says he associates pubic hair with womanhood and sexuality, with being a real woman. In fact, I’ve never had any complaints from any men I’ve been with in my past. Now on the other hand, after my one sexual experience with a woman, she went round slagging me off for being too hairy. Charming.

Zadig · 07/07/2018 19:11

I had mine lasered off some years ago. It works best if your dark haired and pale skinned, but I still got great results even though I’m more olive skinned. I’ll be honest, my husband does prefer me hairless down there. Its not that he sees it as unclean or anything, it’s more that it would be a turn off for him if there’s pubes visible around or through lingerie. He does watch porn (apparently only the women-on-women stuff Hmm), but I don’t know if this would have been his preference anyway? I always used to wax everything before the lasering. To be honest, I don’t see any difference to people who shave their armpits or legs. Loads of men shave or wax their bodies too now, though I’m not a fan of that personally.
