I've just had a brief scan on here to see if anyone has posted, but apparently D&V Beckham are announcing their divorce today? Reports saying he's got Harper's teacher pregnant!

Anyone else heard this? Bookies have suspended betting on it!

There is another thread on it. They've announced that they're donating their royal wedding outfits for Manchester terror attack victims today, I don't reckon they'd follow that up with a divorce announcement..

I've just had quite a few different people texting me about it and seen it on Facebook, no official sources seeing as they're not meant to be announcing it yet!

There is a thread on chat - the Sun report it has been dismissed as nonsense.

I'm not saying it's definitely happening at all, I was more just wondering if anyone else had heard anything. I tend to be only really look at AIBU because it's my favourite place on the internet - in my hurried nosyness I didn't think to look at the 'Chat' page.

Ffs, 'apparently' is perfectly ok in this context. It can mean 'so I've heard, rumours are', etc. How incredibly fastidious.

'Apparently' can be used to refer to something that you have heard but are not sure is true, so OP used it correctly.

Does anybody even know these people? Personally, I never met them so don't care

MaryMcCarthy I'm not really sure what the point of your argument is or why you need to raise it, but 'apparently' can be used to used when you want to say you have read or been told something, although you are not certain is true. Which is how I was using it. Hope this helps.
