David & Victoria divorce?

I've just had a brief scan on here to see if anyone has posted, but apparently D&V Beckham are announcing their divorce today? Reports saying he's got Harper's teacher pregnant!

Anyone else heard this? Bookies have suspended betting on it!

He was an up-and-coming football star though and she was a member of a girl band who got mixed reviews at best. They quite probably did love each other in the beginning but she definitely had way way more to lose by divorcing him.

And as things stand now they could afford to live separate liveS whereas a divorce would become messy, put them both in the public eye for no good reason and potentially damage both of their public images.

I don’t really care about the speculation though although it’s a bit shit for people to drag their child’s teacher into it all if it’s not true, especially when it as yet hasn’t been confirmed and in fact has been publicly denied.

'Apparently' is widely misused. Look it up in a dictionary. It doesn't change meaning just because enough people use it incorrectly.

Er, bollocks! There are literally thousands of words that have changed meaning because people have misused them.

So, really the OP is a trail-blazing pioneer of language change whereas you are just an old-fashioned prescriptive fuddy-duddy..

AND a killjoy to boot.

It's never ceased to amaze me how DB has kept his 'National treasure' status. He's a proven cheat. There are rumours about him EVERYWHERE. He's been grasping for a knighthood for years and said some vile things. He's not particularly bright. His PR team are magicians.

If a tabloid DID sniff out a DB affair I'd have money on a superinjunction being involved. For all we know there could be active superinjunctions in place already.

There are plenty of people who slap on injunctions- Andrew Marr was one- when there were rumours of his affair. I think Elton John also took out an injunction at one time too for something.

The bookies are now suspending all bets on a divorce announcement. The fact VB has tweeted or whatever that they are so happy is always a sign that things aren't good.

I know of loads of injunctions. But obvs can't say anything. Because of the injunctions. There are way more kicking around than people think...

Btw I know people will say they don't believe this but before I went NC with MIL she used to tell me all the stories about a woman DB was sleeping with - she was a teacher in a school in Kensington/Holland Park, and MIL knew her relatively well. So I do believe he does sleep around. I just don't care that much.

Harper has recently moved schools. A friend's daughter is in her year. He told me this about a month ago, but not that the teacher was pregnant, just that there had been an affair and the Beckhams asked to leave the previous school because of it. I'm not a parent at that particular school but there has been talk of this for some weeks. Obviously the schools have tried to keep things quiet, but it's difficult.

But why wouldn't the teacher just have been fired? It's easily done over in the US and surely shagging one of the parents must come under some sort of disciplinary in a school? If the teacher was fired, there'd be no need for their daughter to be pulled out of school.

I think it would be good for them to divorce. He can shag around with impunity (instead of just shagging around), she can feel happy again and the kids can stop fronting for their parent's fake marriage
