I've just had a brief scan on here to see if anyone has posted, but apparently D&V Beckham are announcing their divorce today? Reports saying he's got Harper's teacher pregnant!

Anyone else heard this? Bookies have suspended betting on it!

Tbh I imagine that their kids come in for all sorts of speculation given that they are who they are. Let’s face it it’s easy for someone to make up a rumour now of how the parents were asked to remove their kids and for them to run with it. Doesn’t mean that it’s true though does it? I remember when I was at school there were all sorts of rumours circulating about teachers having affairs and so forth and we all believed them and gossiped about them. No doubt if there had been high profile kids rumours would have circulated about those or their parents as well....

But they are worth far too much to each other married than divorced, her especially, so there is no way they will divorce IMO, and he’s not the first to cheat on his wife and her turn a blind eye and he won’t be the last.

And all sorts of people get women pregnant and it’s a shitstorm but they still stay with their wives and their wives put up with it.

Neither of them are victims here. She’s never exactly been the life and soul and his affairs have been widely known. She stays because it would harm her more not to.

A friend works for one of the big mags as a writer and says (without confirming) that she's had about 200 emails with questions/alerts today about it. So I would imagine something is brewing.

Although I dont think the affair rumours are particularly newsworthy though, theyve gone for years. Katherine Jenkins, Poppy Delavigne, blah blah blah.

Depends on your work place rules I'd assume. It can be a disciplinary matter just to be friends on FB with a parent of a pupil, let alone having an intimate relationship with one of them.

Maybe people clicked on the thread thinking there had been an official announcement, etc.....not that it was just gossip?

'Apparently' is widely misused. Look it up in a dictionary. It doesn't change meaning just because enough people use it incorrectly

This seems very strange. DB will know a huge range of people, a lot of whom will want to have a secret affair with him - it would be important for them to keep it secret, too.

That's just ridiculous. Schools don't discuss hiring and firing with parents, no matter how high the fees are! And why would parents be on the side of a teacher who'd slept with a parent? Nobody would trust her again.

Would appear from that statement that the schools used by the Beckhams have a lot of female staff who have form for being happy to have affairs with married men too, if true.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s the one who is married and who made vows to his wife, but if the female staff have all shagged him they presumably knew what they were doing? Unless said female staff thought that starting rumours would be a better use of their time and way to bring in an income if they spill to the tabloids?

All you need to do is start a rumour about a celebrity and it will be rife on social media before too long. And given someone like DB has form who are the tabloids likely to believe?

Harper has recently moved schools. A friend's daughter is in her year. He told me this about a month ago, but not that the teacher was pregnant, just that there had been an affair and the Beckhams asked to leave the previous school because of it. I'm not a parent at that particular school but there has been talk of this for some weeks. Obviously the schools have tried to keep things quiet, but it's difficult.

Are you sure she's changed schools? In the Instagram pic today she still seems to be wearing the same purple uniform that she's been wearing for the past couple of years. I won't name the school but the uniform is fairly identifiable.
