Back by popular demand... we're all this together now!

Original thread: I think my friend should pay, she thinks we should split it?http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/3240864-i-think-my-friend-should-pay-she-thinks-we-should-split-it

OP posts:
FizzyGreenWater · 10/05/2018 12:03

I adore that he said Titzilla.

If ONLY she had an equally deraged boyfriend who now weighed in on her behalf and could therefore be referred to as TITZILLO, my satisfaction would be complete.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 10/05/2018 12:03

Welshgal1 please tell me that the title of this thread is an upcoming movie.

I would pay to see this on screen.

Her threats about lawyers are bullshit. Just bullshit.

Now please, when can we see Titzilla the movie? Grin

sockunicorn · 10/05/2018 12:03

@welshgal1

"When your friend betrays you and wastes £13k of your hard earned money by forcing you to cancel non refundable medical procedures.. do I sue the bitch or just rejoice in the fact she's struggling to get pregnant and hope karma makes the bitch infertile 🤷🏻‍♀️"

I am in fucking shock. What on earth did her facebook friends say on that post?! If one of my friends posted something so vile and nasty I would be unfriending them.

JollyDay · 10/05/2018 12:05

Glad you started another thread OP!

astoundedgoat · 10/05/2018 12:07

Do you think she has really cancelled the procedure though, OP? Because surely she could literally pay someone to turn up to "chaperone" her for the couple of hours they need to be actually present and then just wing it back via public transport or taxi? I don't know where in the country you are, but for instance, a taxi from Cardiff to London is only £179, which seems within the realms of possibility.

Also, OMG this is completely brilliant. Grin Grin Grin

Aeroflotgirl · 10/05/2018 12:07

Oh god, this is gold, how can somebody behave like this.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 10/05/2018 12:08

I wonder whether you can hire an agency nurse/carer for this sort of thing? You know, if you have no friends/Family willing to indulge you.

FizzyGreenWater · 10/05/2018 12:08

Or, if not a supportive Titzillo, then perhaps a squeaky Hun-type friend to take the role of TITZUKI

Are you keeping in contact with your mutual friend? Perhaps she’ll find one of her huns from fb willing to take her. She just needs a chaperone to collect her from the hospital. With all those contacts one of them must be living in/around London and could meet her after the op and accompany her to a taxi. Hardly difficult to arrange.

MrsMozart · 10/05/2018 12:10

All joking aside lass, definitely screenshot and log all, just in case she takes loony to a new level.

ReanimatedSGB · 10/05/2018 12:11

Oh, and if we want further examples of batshittery while we wait for something else to happen, who remembers the one about the OP whose acquaintance spread rumours that OP had died (and it turned out that the rumour-spreader was after OP's H or something.) OP of that one was very amusing and her DH sounded like an absolute gem, as well.

yorkshireyummymummy · 10/05/2018 12:12

Titzilla- the gift that keeps on giving.
Thank you for providing me with a happy mornings reading of utter CFuckery.
I love the way your DH is invested in this now.
bravo to you for standing up to her and big pat on back to your DH for calling her Titzilla.

astoundedgoat · 10/05/2018 12:13

Yes - resist the temptation to delete everything, just in case! Also, if she starts harassing you (or rather, steps it up) you might be the one taking legal steps to make her back off, so the more you have documented the better.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 10/05/2018 12:14

As an afterthought- do you know where it is she was supposed to have this done?

If you knew the name of the clinic you could actually see what policy they have in place regarding payment.

I find the non-refundable thing... a little odd.

KateGrey · 10/05/2018 12:14

What an entitled, spoilt person! Given what I read on MN but it still shocks me the level of entitlement of some people.

NoodleKT · 10/05/2018 12:14

I've been keeping updated on the original thread but haven't yet posted as honestly everyone pretty much covered everything I could have said!
Bravo for being the bigger person... saying that I loved your DHs response to her (made me spit out my tea!) 😂

I hope you enjoy your weekend away

Yesbutnobutmaybe · 10/05/2018 12:15

Just rtft and had to come here to say I hope she does go to a lawyer, shows the messages and get some laughed out of their office and billed more than it would have cost her to pay for your stay.

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 10/05/2018 12:16

Anyone else hope she googles titzilla now? Not placemarking at all, no suree

MyOtherProfile · 10/05/2018 12:16

Wow! Do you have any other mutual fb friends other than the one who told you about the post?

YearOfYouRemember · 10/05/2018 12:18

I was feeling a little bit sorry for her lack of social skills etc until I read the above post re conceiving.

.

prettybird · 10/05/2018 12:19

I posted up a link on the last thread to a company that offers post-surgery care at a price - they're not difficult to find but the longer she leaves it, the harder it will be to arrange someone in time She still has a few days to get something organised if she really wanted to rather than sound off about ungrateful friends and make up stories

Shameless place mark WinkBlush

Goodasgoldilox · 10/05/2018 12:19

Have a lovely weekend!

Your husband's response is perfect.

I could only think of :
'Thank-you so much for telling me. I'd better whisk her away on a romantic weekend to win her back.'
