Before you all get excited: no party yet (I was trying to keep when it was vague so more anonymous but i give up) . I have had a message from softzilla.
'So are we calm enough to sort this oot for tomorrow? 'Hmm

Softzilla reminds me of the woman on the PTA who offered her friends services for a free cut and colour without telling her friend? She’s reacting in the same way..... maybe there are some nuggets of gold in how she dealt with her.

ReanimatedSGB · 13/04/2018 19:15

Maybe TPF was just feeling a bit icky/tired? Be wary of blaming absolutely everything on Softzilla - at least until you've got rid of her from the group and then she can 'live on' as a kind of squad poltergeist - you lose something or knock your drink over and it's 'must be SZ's fault'.

Failingat40 · 13/04/2018 20:50

I hope TPF hasn't been sucked in to Softzillas lies and campaign of disruption op.

Do you think they went somewhere else together?

sonjadog · 13/04/2018 20:53

Maybe TPF was just busy. Maybe SZ has nothing to do with it. This is getting ridiculous.

It rained here today. Maybe that was “Softzilla”...

Magicstar1 · 13/04/2018 20:59

I had this type of thing in a club, only it was a guy doing it. He told lies to so many people independently. One day I was flicking through fb the same time as DH and realised I could only see half of this guy's posts....he'd restricted me so I couldn't see the lies he spread.
The only way to deal with these people is all together. I waited til we were all in a room and asked what he was playing at. Told him he was a two faced, lying, sneaky toerag. Because everyone was there he couldn't lie his way out. It's the only way to get the truth.

I definitely think a shoe of solidarity with pregnant friend is in order. She is attempting to divide and conquer, and you need to show her that won't work. Even if you just have a friendly bank and forth on the group chat.

And I think it is definitely time to block SZ on everything. Angry Nasty bitch

Sorry, double post. Also, I don't think a shoe of solidarity is a thing. Blush👡

Kirta · 13/04/2018 21:27

Are we all getting new shoes?? Grin

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 13/04/2018 21:41

This is the first time I've posted on either of these threads but a shoe of solidarity sounds amazing!!! I'm in!!!

Motoko · 13/04/2018 21:54

I can see it now. When a member of the group is going through a tough time, they get passed the Shoe of Solidarity, and keep it until the next person needs it.
It will be placed reverentially on the mantelpiece, and when feeling low, the current owner of it will gaze on it and gain strength from knowing her friends have her back.

ElChan03 · 13/04/2018 22:09

Also in favour of the shoe of solidarity.... a new Mumsnet stock phrase?

Unreasonableunreasonableness · 13/04/2018 22:18

Feel free to report if you feel this isn't true. Happy to have mumsnet look in to tell you that I've been a member for a good number of years, tho I name change regularly to keep me from being 'sussed out '.
Not sure about posting once this evening about a total non event being 'timed to a T'.... Tho I am glad it wasn't more exciting.

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 13/04/2018 22:39

Have some Glitterball sparkles OP, you deserve it.

Charmatt · 13/04/2018 22:40

It should be a red shoe as well!

ReanimatedSGB · 13/04/2018 22:40

Nah, the Shoe of Solidarity should be a great big fuck off New Rock, for kicking nasty bitches up the twinkle...

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 13/04/2018 22:42

I may be too old to get away with sparkly shoes! 😭

BerylStreep · 13/04/2018 22:43

Can they be flat please, with supportive arches? Since they are, technically, support shoes 👞

Lizzie48 · 13/04/2018 22:44

I love the sparkly shoes too. There's nothing like sparkly new shoes when it comes to cheering us up!! My DDs love them too. Smile

ToadsforJustice · 13/04/2018 22:44

Sparkly shoes you say. I'm in.
