That she belives you abd shes freindly with others in the group who can all vouch that you were not upset at the party.

Did she actually confirm softzilla as the source.

I would block her number no more texts or avoiding phonecalls.

Only ever speak to her with other freinds present.

Just block her and tell everyone why I.e she's lying and you don't want to be part of her drama.

I definitely don't feel sorry for SZ, I never did. What a troublemaker she is, and I'm concerned that she might actually be unhinged and dangerous. Her poor DC, though.

Oh unreasonable what a.... words fail me. You've shown grace throughout and she's batshit insane.

If you are confident that SZ is definitely the source of the gossip to outing friend, then at this point I would send one final text message to SZ letting her know that you know she was the source of untrue gossip about you, and that you have done everything you can to be reasonable towards her and move on for the good of the group, however she has now overstepped the mark way too far and you wish no further engagement with her. Then block her number so that she has no right of reply.

Have the last day and then move on with your head held high.

Do you know when outing friend was told? Could it have been in the 45 mins SZ was waiting for you? Or has she done this afterwards as she didn't get her own way?

It's been impossible for OP to avoid the woman, @Weezol as they were both at the children's party. They have mutual friends as well, though hopefully not now she's shown her true colours to all of them.

Weezol, She's not exactly engaging with it. SZ would still have approached her at the party, and is still creating trouble by spreading rumours about her. The OP has shut her down as much as possible by refusing to react to her (apart from venting on here). Just what do you think she should do?
