The Ines that really piss me off lately are the ones with a caption like "have you seen my sister? Here is a recent pic" and it will be a pic of a chimp or something. It's just not funny at all.

Coming second place are the "I am a woman, I am a warrior" type shite with a picture of a woman descending into a forest.

Third place "I may not be an angel, but I'm honest and will have your back" - often with a picture of a couple hugging.

4th place - a picture of an old dog with the caption "I bet I won't even get one share ... "

And finally "I know 99% of you won't care enough to repost this but I bet I can guess which of my friends will"

I know I could block these people etc but sometimes even the most sane of friends will repost this shit!

The ones where people claim to be a chef, taxi driver, cleaner, nursery worker etc when actually they aren't at all they are just a non working parent.

Disability inspiration porn really pisses me off.

I have a FB friend who posts screeds of pro-Trump, anti-climate change, anti-Muslim, anti-Gvt, pro-gun, anti MSM rubbish. Most of it originates from America. What makes him particularly sad is that he's not American and hasn't ever lived there yet you would think he's under the delusion that he's from an inbred family from Kansas.

I read his page for a laugh, and occasionally point out why something is crap, as doing so makes him angry.

He even accused me of getting my information from CNN. I decided against saying "actually, BBC" as I didn't want to give him an aneurysm.

Oh don't get me started on the 'if you get a friend request from a John Harker with a profile picture of a dog, don't friend him because he's a HACKER and he will strip your profile of all the information and SELL it and get access to your bank account...'

Every time I post the Snopes link to show it's fake. Why do people bother? I know they think they are doing a good thing but, FGS, my Facebook profile won't give anyone access to anything other than a dodgy picture of me and about a million pictures of kittens - I know about security!

The one about saying "bye bye" to Felicia... huh?

I hate the "Share if you were an eighties kid and did...... (various things) and survived" .The worst was a "poem" about the joys of growing up in the Fifties, reminiscing fondly about being slapped, having your mouth washed out with soap if you swore, and Mum being at home, and "content with her lot." I was horrified at the number of responses it got, all approving !

Anything that says "copy and paste, don't share".

I link snopes to the 'advice' style scaremongering...even did a rant on a post asking people too many to target individually who share this...I don't have idiots on my friends list yet they share all this bollocks, I don't get it...the moment they go on FB they lose all critical thinking skills!...I'm now getting more blunt...I do it kindly to one young man who does this as I know he has SN and really doesn't get it but the rest of them if they get offended so be it!

I have a real love/hate relationship with fb but a lot of the crap that gets posted is maddening and makes me think less of the people who continue to mindlessly repost it.

All of them. Anyone who posts or shares more than one in a blue moon gets unfollowed (but not unfriended) so I don't have to see any of their shit.

I have a relative who has never left the country who shares missing people all over the bloody world! Sometimes the posts are from years ago. It's baffling.

I can't remember it exactly but it's something along the lines of "what to do when your kids ask why you never give them anything". Then there's four pictures, a tap with a bow on it, a light switch with a bow on it, a fridge with a bow on it, I can't remember the forth.

Drives me fucking mad! If you chose to have kids surely the least you can bloody do is feed, house and clothe them??

What about the ones where it says 'we have a 10 star all inclusive 5 week holiday to the Maldives/brand new £75000 motor home etc but the original buyer cancelled and we can't resell it so WE ARE GIVING IT AWAY, share for your chance to win'. Or 'we are giving away a brand new Range Rover sport, share with your choice of colour for a chance to win'. Fuck off!!

The one that annoys me the most is the picture of a forest and a picture of various pills, with a caption on the forest saying ‘This is the treatment for depression’ and one on the drugs saying something along the lines of ‘And this is just addictive chemical shite’.

Yes, someone who is suffering from mild, temporary depression, getting regular walks somewhere prettt may be a real help, but there are those of us who know that, without the chemical shite, our mood will be so low that we will move from feeling that death will be welcome when it comes, to actively thinking of ways to make it come faster - or worse, doing them.

And someone with moderate to severe depression may find it a near-impossible task just to get out of bed and get dressed, never mind having the mental energy to go for a walk.

Mental illness is real, and cannot be cured by positive mental attitude and a walk in the woods, ffs. And that shitty meme makes me feel like a total failure because I haven’t cured myself by going for a walk.

I hate the ‘bad things only happen with a bad attitude’ or ‘think positive and positive things happen’ type ones. Ummmmm nope. I have a pretty good attitude and some fucking horrific things have happened to me.

Also those woo ‘eat oranges to treat depression’ ones really piss me off. Weeeeell if only if known that oranges could cure this debilitating illness I have.

Various relatives of mine keep sharing posts that call for vigilante action against whoever the attached photo is of on the basis that they're a child abuser/rapist/Jon Venables. The people sharing the post don't seem to consider the possibility that this "criminal" is probably completely innocent and has done nothing worse than annoy the OP enough for them to consider spreading dangerous lies all over Facebook. I always report posts like that.
