What Facebook memes annoy you?

The Ines that really piss me off lately are the ones with a caption like "have you seen my sister? Here is a recent pic" and it will be a pic of a chimp or something. It's just not funny at all.

Coming second place are the "I am a woman, I am a warrior" type shite with a picture of a woman descending into a forest.

Third place "I may not be an angel, but I'm honest and will have your back" - often with a picture of a couple hugging.

4th place - a picture of an old dog with the caption "I bet I won't even get one share ... "

And finally "I know 99% of you won't care enough to repost this but I bet I can guess which of my friends will"

I know I could block these people etc but sometimes even the most sane of friends will repost this shit!

"Girls with these names are getting married this year!"
"Guys with these names are total lads!"

My own SISTER posted one of these pieces of shit TAGGING ME. I'm fucking appalled to be related to her.

I HATE the ones that say shit like, “share if you’re (although often your) glad you grew up like this not this” with a picture of a kid stood in a puddle and a picture of a kid on a mobile phone. Like the two things are mutually exclusive.

And also, on a similar vein, “share if you grew up never wearing a seatbelt and survived.” I am unsure if I am supposed to share it because it’s an achievment or because people who strap their children in are pandering modern day parents?

Yeah they type Amen after this picture of a seriously ill child etc, but the autism ones annoy me (and this is personal as I have a severly autistic child) the ones such as "autism isnt a disabillity it just different ability " for many it may not be but it doesn't take into account that's its a spectrum. And some people are hugely disabled by it.

I’m always tempted to ask the ‘I know which of my friends will repost this’ why they don’t just post it on their page rather than guilt tripping everyone.

Similar theme to above but the ones showing a kid being caned/smacked saying something like ‘this taught me respect!’ Well I have plenty of respect and yet no adult every laid a finger on me

Repost if you grew up drinking out of a garden hose, played out until the streetlights came on and never had a car seat and you were just fine!

Yeah good job no kids died in car accidents in the 80's.

And people actually do it. That man could be literally anyone that someone has it out for.

Always makes me day to see a mental health awareness post from the family who belittled and ignored and downright shunned me when I had my own mental health problems.

I mean, they’re all fucking shockers and I’m ashamed to know anyone who posts them but for me the worst ones are definitely those bloody minion ones. They make no sense!!!! It’s always just a random-as-anything quote with a picture of a minion for no fucking reason.

Trial by social media Podge a relative of dh, work colleague was arrested allegedly grooming his 14 yr old facebook , his picture was shared all over facebook, I don't know the man and I have no idea if he is guilty or not but because of idiots sharing his picture his relatives work van was burned out and his trial could be put in jeopardy 🙄

I've seen it less recently, but there was a stage where I kept seeing that 'If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best' quote EVERYWHERE. Inevitably posted by the sort of total nightmare person who insists that she is 'just telling it like it is' while being rude to everyone around her.

Anything with a kid or very old person holding up a placard saying ‘I bet I can’t get a like’ or ‘my teacher wanted to teach us internet security so let’s see how far this can travel...’ plus all the bollocks already mentioned!

I have a friend on FB who posts nothing but quite aggressive memes about not caring if other people don’t like her. I get the impression a lot of people don’t like her.

Yep, all of them, but especially any that mention god, angels, babies or cancer. I don't mind genuinely funny ones, but apparently most of my Facebook friends have a crap sense of humour.

Oh, and those widowed Army generals with one teenage child, who try to 'friend' me, and all, apparently, have ripped the same picture of the American Secretary of State. Idiots.

This and the life is about learning to dance in the rain 😡😡😡😡 fuck off .

Anything with those fucking minions on. That's one of the main reasons I left.

Unfortunately I'm friends on FB with lots of what I call "professional grandmas" who are meme crazy and have an over inflated idea if their status. So your kid had a kid and you love your grandchild. Great that makes you the same as millions of other people in the world. Nope sorry I forgot you're a "special" grandma because you endlessly share memes saying "share if you have a grandchild you love" or "what happens at grandma's stays at Grandma's" or some other shite. Why don't they get the heck off of FB and offer to babysit or something and stop boring the rest of us.
