What Facebook memes annoy you?

The Ines that really piss me off lately are the ones with a caption like "have you seen my sister? Here is a recent pic" and it will be a pic of a chimp or something. It's just not funny at all.

Coming second place are the "I am a woman, I am a warrior" type shite with a picture of a woman descending into a forest.

Third place "I may not be an angel, but I'm honest and will have your back" - often with a picture of a couple hugging.

4th place - a picture of an old dog with the caption "I bet I won't even get one share ... "

And finally "I know 99% of you won't care enough to repost this but I bet I can guess which of my friends will"

I know I could block these people etc but sometimes even the most sane of friends will repost this shit!

They all make me cringe

my cousin posts loads of them, tagging in his latest squeeze, usually ones about Sex, foreplay etc

Notwithstaning anything at all with the picture of a squaddie/poppy/battlefield/sunset eminating from Britain First/Patriots/Templars etc with a similar phrase 'our fathers died for this [insert bigotted POV on Eu/Religious entities]'

I think you'll find they died so we could have freedom of speech.

Anyway because I can, anyone who circulates this type of shite is an oxygen thief. All I can say is, hold your breath and do us all a favour.

Passive aggressive ones. The bitter ones some women on my wall use rather than just say what's bothering them to the person like a big grown up. Usually referring to themselves as a birch or saying how above everyone else they are.

All the ones on your op.

Animal abuse ones get an insta unfriend. Even if they think its for charity or whatever. I don't want to see pics of maimed animals tyvm.

You right click it and block the site it comes from eg Britain First/I love Doggies/Flowers in Heaven/Sious Warriors/ whatever - and it doesnt matter what fucknugget regurgitates this bollox, you will never have to see that page again. Win-win

Surely everyone hates cancer already, I don't need to spread this around to prove it. I can't think that there is anyone who is undecided on whether to like cancer or not who needs to see a Facebook meme in order to make a decision.

I do roll my eyes at most of them. But there is the odd one that makes me chuckle, like the ‘this too will pass, it may pass like a kidney stone but it will pass’ types. I just tend to hide the page they come from as various friends will use the same page for many of the things every day.

I hate the "This little boy thinks no one will wish him a happy birthday because...." with a tear-jerking pic. They are all just ruses to get people to comment or click 'like'.

Minion quotes. Thankfully I've blocked almost all the sources of those.
Any of the "99% of people will scroll past" guff. Sharing a meme won't fight cancer.

Any cryptic statement designed to 'raise awareness' of cancer. Every time I see one of these I post a link to actual symptoms of the cancer in question.

The memes that say something like " I am real not fake. If I have something to say to someone I say it unlike some other people". Oh the irony because these are obviously aimed at someone and therefore not said to that person's face at all

The tiger momma ones. Either " I am a tiger who has earned her stripes" or the ones about boys posted by those who are going to be horrendous mother in laws one day which say something like "My son will always be my little boy. If anyone hurts him then Mumma has always got him"

Any with a picture of a child with Down Syndrome saying something like 'share if you think I'm cute.' Makes my blood boil

Another one "peter doesn't think anyone will wish him a happy birthday because he has Down syndrome"

Or "this dog is dying, type amen below to show you care". Then you get a barrage of twats typing amen in the comments.

Any that have a list of about 20 names, with a caption along the lie of: "These women will all have a baby this year" or "These are hard-ass women who will be your best friend" etc etc.

I really want to make up my own with "These women are gullible twats who'll post anything"
