Having actual flu is like being hit with a sledgehammer. Suddenly.

Snacktimonious · 08/02/2018 17:12

It would have to be suddenly, I suppose. Being hit with a sledgehammer. It can't sort of, come on slowly.

Tarraleaha · 08/02/2018 17:13

You are just a bunch of meanies, the OP had to start another thread to warn others about you. Shame on you

NathanTheProphet · 08/02/2018 17:17

I am loving this. Starting a second thread is the icing on the proverbial.

coffeeneeded · 08/02/2018 17:17

Oh my goodness- gold dust on a dreary afternoon!

NooNooHead · 08/02/2018 17:18

Do you think the OP will come back? Or have we all scared her away being oh-so-sympathetic? Wink

NooNooHead · 08/02/2018 17:19

Oh yes... just seen the link to the second thread! Off I go over there... Grin

Yes, I get a chest infection is also pneumonia. But I would have thought if op had pneumonia, they would have sent her to hospital but idk.

It's the word 'Meds' that finished me off.

To ring him at work
Snacktimonious · 08/02/2018 17:41

the idea of op being stranded on a kitchen counter for 90 minutes

Apart from anything else it's bloody unhygienic.

hungryhippo90 · 08/02/2018 17:42

So funny! I’ve sat laughing here, there’s someone who is even more pathetic than me when Ill!

This is GOLD !

Worieddd · 08/02/2018 17:43

LOL

greeneyedgirl34 · 08/02/2018 17:46

Are you actually for real. Get a grip. I had chemo for 5 months and single parent to my 3 kids, with no other support. I got on with it, and we all survived.

Newnaim · 08/02/2018 17:47

Wow - is it fashionable to be plain nasty on here now? It's like a competition to see who can be the ""funniest" with the quick witted quips nastiest with the most spiteful sarcasm

This is the second thread today where I think that some of the posters on here come across like playground bullies

NathanTheProphet · 08/02/2018 17:50

I am tempted to start a new thread myself along the lines of "AIBU to be pissed off that my GP won't see me instantly?"

chickenowner · 08/02/2018 17:51

Wow. And I thought I was pathetic when ill.

This thread is hilarious and filled with so many inconsistencies.

I would also like the name of your GP surgery where you can get an immediate appointment and an immediate diagnosis, without having to wait for test results.

Is it a magic GP surgery?

Or are you a 12 year old who has got access ro Mummy's mumsnet password?

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/02/2018 17:51

This is possibly better than the supersoaker thread, though not quite up the with horses at the Olympics.
I'm genuinely not supposed to climb (many conditions/illnesses etc I won't bore you with), even I'm not so much of a twat as to sit on a workbench for an hour and a half.

IceBearRocks · 08/02/2018 17:55

Well what a horrible lot you all are!!!! Poor OP..... achondroplasia is terrible...do you not have any other help???

All those ailments...I'm glad momma was there to rescue and sit with you in the GP surgery.... Please get some rest and feel better soon.

Here's a massive stupendous 🍪 to help you feel better...hope your life improves soon do you don't need to "get a life!!!"

chickenowner · 08/02/2018 17:56

By the way ladies, this is the same poster who slagged off her child's teacher for wearing a short dress and high heels.
