I'm at home today not well (although obviously nowhere near as Ill as OP!) and this thread has kept me thoroughly entertained all afternoon Grin

CarpeVitam · 08/02/2018 16:45

I needed a laugh this afternoon....thanks OP! 😂

LadySainsburySeal · 08/02/2018 16:46

Have we had another update yet or is OP still thinking how to worsen her condition? Has anyone called Mary Poppins yet?

DontMakeMeShushYou · 08/02/2018 16:46

Mummyoflittledragon A chest infection is bronchitis.

Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn't. Pneumonia is also a chest infection and often does need an x-ray to diagnose it correctly.

HildaZelda · 08/02/2018 16:46

I've just read my way through this entire thread. HAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

fleshmarketclose · 08/02/2018 16:46

This thread has cheered me up no end. Had been feeling under incredible strain because of many family and health issues and was feeling a bit pathetic. To read of the OP being such a sad sap has made me feel invincible Grin thanks OP. Do post again about your next drama won't you? I'd love to hear how you cope with a splinter or stubbing your toe.

metalmum15 · 08/02/2018 16:47

This thread is gold 😆

I missed the bit where op said she was stuck on the worktop for half an hour, but really? ! If you're feeling dizzy you'd get yourself down before you possibly passed out, fell off, and knocked 3 teeth out on a hard kitchen floor.

Wilburissomepig · 08/02/2018 16:47

Nope.

Newnaim · 08/02/2018 16:47

@VioletCharlotte how dare you.

Do you have a chest infection, ear infection, flu, a cold, scurvy, rickets, indigestion, worms and a bit dizzy like the OP?

If not no one cares Grin

IsItSummerYet2018 · 08/02/2018 16:48

Floor is lava 😂 😂

Kittypillar · 08/02/2018 16:48

metalmum15 · 08/02/2018 16:49

metalmum15 · 08/02/2018 16:51

newnaim Oh of course, silly me, i should have guessed as I always leap onto the kitchen worktop first when my dc start yelling that!

georgeoutside · 08/02/2018 16:52

Floor is lava

Literally creased with laughter at this

Kittypillar · 08/02/2018 16:54

Apparently I was chuckling so hard I lost the ability to post properly... Oh well!

feska5 · 08/02/2018 16:55

If you had the flu OP you would be bed-bound. There’s a saying about having the flu – that even if somebody put £100 at the end of your bed, you’d be too unwell to even think about reaching for it! You certainly wouldn’t be able to consider climbing on a chair. You wouldn’t be able to get to your GP and I’d even say you wouldn’t be asking advice on MN. Bet you’re sorry you did now.

SneakyGremlins · 08/02/2018 16:58

I've just sneezed, AIBU to call an air ambulance to take me to the nearest ICU?

Feedme1 · 08/02/2018 17:04

😂 thank you OP, I’ve had the most awful day but this has thoroughly cheered me up 😁

VladmirsPoutine · 08/02/2018 17:09

@SneakyGremlins No you're not. Make sure to get all the meds available and post a picture of yourself hooked to a drip on FB. Cover all bases!
