I'll start.

Don't buy venetian blinds. They're such a pain to clean.

Yup. You were right mum ( as I cough up a dust cloud and they still look grubby...)

I do miss her, now she's gone
Old age doesn't come alone
Time does March on

Miss my mum

PuntasticUsername · 28/10/2017 17:27

That there would come a time when I would not only tolerate but actually, actively like vegetables.

Bobbins43 · 28/10/2017 17:27

Everything. She was right about everything.

Santawontbelong · 28/10/2017 17:28

Naff all.

BertrandRussell · 28/10/2017 17:29

Practically everything. Apart from marmelade. She was wrong about that.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 28/10/2017 17:29

I would regret giving up classical guitar lessons at age 13. I was quite good but it wasn't 'cool' at the time so I quit. Over twenty years later I regret it so much. I don't remember a single thing I learned, even how to read music!

oncewasawarrior · 28/10/2017 17:30

Using a face cream with sunscreen and applying it down to top of your chest.

I’ve been doing it grudgingly out of habit for 20 years now, but by god you can see the difference between me and my (younger!) sister who hasn’t...😃

gamerchick · 28/10/2017 17:30

Very little but boy does she like to gloat when she is.

itsstillgood · 28/10/2017 17:30

Everything!

DeadDoorpost · 28/10/2017 17:32

That she gets left out of things and there's a reason why too but we won't go into that
She s been mostly wrong about everything. Including her getting back together with my dad and marrying this guy who is clearly not into her but she won't accept that oh no i don't have issues with my mum nope not me

thedevilinablackdress · 28/10/2017 17:33

Vests

thedevilinablackdress · 28/10/2017 17:33

Vests

MrTrebus · 28/10/2017 17:34

Most things even if I don't like to admit it to her!

Moanyoldcow · 28/10/2017 17:35

That I didn't need to change or worry - I'd meet someone who loves me because of who I am and I'd be happy. I just had to be patient.

Unfortunately she died when I was a teenager so she never got to meet him but she was right - my DH loves me fat, with mad hair, my filthy language and crooked teeth - just as I am.

BitchPeas · 28/10/2017 17:38

Never trust a man with 2 phones.

She was/is wrong about everything else though.

CaoNiMwahaha · 28/10/2017 17:39

I'm racking my brains...

Nope! Nada.

DorothyBastard · 28/10/2017 17:40

The value of ‘fresh air’

Mulberry72 · 28/10/2017 17:41

Pretty much everything.

Miss my Mum. Sad

FusionChefGeoff · 28/10/2017 17:42

Rinsing out the bath

SabineUndine · 28/10/2017 17:44

Being a good girl. It doesn’t pay.

Llanali · 28/10/2017 17:45

I miss mine so much I can’t catch my breath sometimes.

She was right about most things; and mostly she was right that I was worth something, I am valuable and that I’m worth loving.

AmysTiara · 28/10/2017 17:45

That I'd get over my first love.

thenightsky · 28/10/2017 17:46

Look after your teeth. You only get one grown up set.

WiccanWonder · 28/10/2017 17:47

People aren't against you there for themselves.

People who lay down with dogs get fleas. (About my teenage friends)

It's easier to go down with the shit, than bring yourself up. (Again about my teenage friends)

Your parents are the ones who will always have your back no matter what. And she does!

Crikeyblimey · 28/10/2017 17:51

Many many things but to name a few:

Getting better is a secret and only happens when you are asleep.

Make your own money.

If your knickers are too tight it'll make you bad tempered.

I'll think of more.

I miss my mum.
