To be upset with my sisters txt

So my sister invited me and my OH over to her house yesterday. I ignored the txt because I was tired and couldn't be bothered.

Today I just saw a txt from her saying 'I suppose that means your not coming over' This was sent last night at 9pm.

Not sure how to reply - I have turned her down in the past but I'm really miffed with her reply.

Is that a joke? Or a reverse?

You were very rude not to respond. How hard is it to say 'no thank you'. YABU to be miffed.

Her text was a lot politer then you ignoring her. Why didn't you send a quick text back saying you couldn't make it?

You should reply: "I'm so sorry I never got back to you, it was very rude of me."

White lie "sorry, wasn't feeling well, fell asleep for most of the day" - unless you were all over social media in which case you're not ging to get away with it.

It takes a few seconds to text 'Yes, thank you' or 'No, thank you'.

I think it's your sister who should be miffed, not you. It would've been good manners to reply to her text.

Perhaps reply with a sincere apology for not replying to her invitation. You were very rude to ignore an invitation because you "couldn't be bothered". If I was your sister I would make that my last invitation to you, you don't appear to have any manners.

Usually my sister doesn't do this type of thing that's why I'm shocked. I have ignored some of her messages in the past and she normally acts like she hasn't seen them before.
