McDonald's breakfast - WHATS THE BIG DEAL?

I had my first ever McDonald's breakfast today as I was very early for DS hospital appointment .. I tried a sausage and egg mcmuffin and pancake .. I was so excited to try it as I have heard so many good things about McDonald's breakfast but I personally didn't think it didn't taste very nice ... I was very disappointed and hungry!

Did I ask for the wrong thing? I was the only one in McDonald's at the time when I ordered and didn't want to seem seem like I didn't know what I was doing ( I was clueless!) ! So i "confidently" asked the first thing I could see on the menu! BlushBlush

They are bigged up because most people eat them as hangover food when basically anything greasy and hot is like the food of the Gods. I would never have one as normal breakfast.

YABU, I love an egg mcmuffin with hot chocolate. The pancakes are ok.

Bills does a lovely breakdast.

I thought everyone knew it's shite, and would re-work their plans so as to arrive after 10.30am when breakfast becomes LUNCH.

So true. I cut back a fair bit on my drinking at the beginning of 2017, and recently I was pondering my seemingly few visits to the golden arches as of late. Took me a while to put it all together.

Hash browns ARE gorgeous.

That said I don't like the muffins. Far prefer the breakfast wrap with the hash brown on the side.

The sausage and egg McMuffin is bestveasten at 6am on a winter morning, when you've just come off a nightshift.

They are my comfort food. Grin

I like McDonald's anyway though, Big Macs are amazing.

I love the bacon rolls and hash browns. They are better than anything on the day menu.

Oh, this is a good thread. You know how they only sell their breakfast til 11am? Well in a 24 hour McDonald's what time do they stop serving chips?

I love a McDonald's breakfast yes they are crap and defiantly not healthy but they taste nice imo I like the wrap breakfast with orange juice .

They tend to be slow girly less disgusting that the regular menu although I don't think anyone orders pancakes.

Used to have McDs years ago, have never regarded it as food of the gods I must say...
I'd order the porridge for breakfast. Or the pancakes (are they still nice?).
However, I do rate McCafe. Much nicer than Starbucks!

Thankyou I never realised they had bagels ! I am really new to this McDonald's breakfast lark! Lol  I can see the hash browns are popular.. I am not normally a fan of them but I am now tempted to give them a go because they do seem very popular!

What are American biscuits @SenecaFalls? I have heard a lot of people talk about having them for breakfast but never tried them!

Only time they are good is when you've had far too many cocktails the night before and you have to get the train home to your dh and dc and need to look human by time you get home.

Grease is a wonderful thing when hungover

Ex McDonald's employee partner said they'll stop serving chips when they start the breakfast menu. I think 5am in some of them?

Wouldn't go near them. Very fatty and salty food that tastes bland. The company doesn't care a hoot about all the disposable rubbish that they create.

Might have been a bit early for this but the McFlurry ice creams are definitely food of the gods. Smile

It's shit shit shit. But some people are weirdly into it. My DH loves it. Just tastes like cardboard to me.

But then I live in the land of the Supermacs Deluxe Breakfast Roll. Sweet Jesus. Amazing.
