I'm probably going to get a Mumsnet lecture: however I think strangers asking to take pictures of my son when we're out for a family meal every single weekend and for others to join our table to pet my son like he's a puppy is overstepping boundaries. Am I wrong ?? A: he's not a dog so petting him is just weird and b:he is my child he's not an art piece so strangers taking photos are a complete Nono.

I think you're right!

Ninjakittysmells · 03/08/2017 19:28

You know I didn't believe you at first, but then you mentioned that the football squad all have fallen in love with him too, and I just thought - god, if even the football squad love your little man on his vintage horse, then he must be really special.

Can we see a photo of him? I want to check out his aura now too Grin

CoolCarrie · 03/08/2017 19:28

Why don't you charge them for the photographs? !

heateallthebuns · 03/08/2017 19:29

Didn't you post about wanting mare's milk op? Confused

MimsyFluff · 03/08/2017 19:29

DD2 was a cute toddler everyone wanted to touch her brown curls don't worry OP your DS will grow out of it Grin

DD3 is hilarious everyone laughs along with her but never 230 people in one go you must tell me so I can help her improve her comedy act. Everyone tells me how cute she is, I'm pretty sure it's just to be nice and whatever your on can have some please 😘

lovemelovemyboys · 03/08/2017 19:30

She was also the one asking whether to tell her son his totally devoted dad initially wanted her to abort him.

Marinade · 03/08/2017 19:30

I think a NoNo is a form of hair removal device - no?

TropicPlunder · 03/08/2017 19:30

People have taken photos/asked to take photos of my bsby/toddler when out before. It is weird, I ask them not to

Witchend · 03/08/2017 19:34

The worrying thing I know someone in rl who really does talk/think like this.
Only in his case the 230 people would have banded together with the staff to present a 1000 name signature to ask the management to let them stay another week for free, which they unfortunately couldn't take up. And there would be the entire hotel in tears at their leaving.

NoddysBell · 03/08/2017 19:34

I don't get it.

franklyshankly · 03/08/2017 19:36

.

Jayfee · 03/08/2017 19:37

so parents can't take pictures of children in school plays, but strangers think they can photograph a strange child? surely not in the uk??

SmilingButClueless · 03/08/2017 19:37

Wanting mare's milk. Riding on a horse.

Is he a boy or a foal? Confused

HotelEuphoria · 03/08/2017 19:38

230 people stopped to listen to your DS laugh? Strangers take photos of him? You are either taking the piss or on it.

Maelstrop · 03/08/2017 19:39

What the eff are you on, OP?

QuitMoaning · 03/08/2017 19:40

I am a little confused. Is the little boy famous or have I missed something ?

RaspberryRipple53 · 03/08/2017 19:40

Is this a joke?

Allthebestnamesareused · 03/08/2017 19:41

Is the Op the lady who always comes on to "drunk post"

DollyPartonsBeard - loving the pic!

RebelRogue · 03/08/2017 19:41

Start charging them. 10£ a pic 5£ a shared infectious laugh. 😬😬

Rach3637475 · 03/08/2017 19:41

Amazing. And crap.

reuset · 03/08/2017 19:43

The whole town loves him. Even the football squad

Grin Good one, OP.

Shitalopram · 03/08/2017 19:43
