According to the telegraph other hospitals are refusing to admit him.

Doubledottvremote · 12/07/2017 09:16

Not surprised. They do the want the protests and threats

LapinR0se · 12/07/2017 09:16

I have tweeted joshua rozenberg and he replied to say he plans to attend court again tomorrow.
So we should get high quality live information again during the hearing.

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 12/07/2017 09:16

And that's what CA have done to "help". Ffs. Poor baby.

Writerwannabe83 · 12/07/2017 09:16

According to the telegraph other hospitals are refusing to admit him.

I'm not surprised after all this. You'd hardly put your Trust at risk of having the same abuse thrown it's way....

LovelyBath77 · 12/07/2017 09:18

Yes, at the hearing on Monday it was said GOSH tried to get others to transfer him to and they all refused.

MN Site keeps crashing for me, anyone else?

Rachel0Greep · 12/07/2017 09:37

I just wish that in all these month somebody somewhere would have tested on a mouse then they really would have had no argument. But is it even that easy to find even a mouse with RRM2B

From the CA page...

MidnightAura · 12/07/2017 09:37

Thank you for the new thread, I have been trying to keep up but it moves so quickly!

Sirzy · 12/07/2017 09:37

Given Gosh have already said that they have spoken to all other big children's hospitals in the country about the case I don't see what would be achieved by moving him anywhere?

LovelyBath77 · 12/07/2017 09:41

Yes it was crashing on me too.

I went on to FB and reported the CA group and CA USA group- it is easy you just click on 'Report Group' and then it asks you to choose from options, there is one for Credible thread of violence, so chose that option.

So is it true that the parents are being denied Charlie's medical records? Or is it something else that ca have misinterpreted?

TheSlowLoris · 12/07/2017 09:42

Moving him to another hospital won't benefit him. And I'm not surprised in the slightest that other hospitals won't accept him.

TheWeeWitch · 12/07/2017 09:42

Good one @LapinR0se

And @Rachel0Greep - as far as I'm concerned that quote wins the CA stupidity prize so far Confused

Rhodiolia · 12/07/2017 09:43

@lonelymummyof1 I hope your DD is doing better today, and please just let me know if I can do anything more to help. You need more than 1 hot meal a week!

I see Charlie's Circus are all in a flap about the lawyer who asked the judge to have Charlie's parents "stop badgering staff for medical records" - what is the legal position on this, does anyone know? Are they entitled to all his medical records?

LovelyBath77 · 12/07/2017 09:44

Facebook Community Standards

When deciding whether to report a group, consider reading Facebook’s Community Standards. Facebook will remove content that contains violence or threats of violence to oneself or another. Such content may also be referred to local law enforcement and suicide prevention agencies, when necessary. Although members are encouraged to speak freely on matters and people of public interest, negative or threatening speech directed at an individual or group is not permitted.

The CA stupidity would be funny if it weren't real. In fact, if it was fiction it would be slammed for being unbelievable.

Lonely I've been thinking of you and your daughter a lot this week, how is she doing today? And how are you doing?

The money discussion is a very important one IMO and is much wider reaching than just this case as the parents of seriously ill children bear a huge financial burden as well as an emotional one and there isn't enough support available. Clic Sargent are petitioning the government for more financial support for families having to travel for cancer treatment (I don't want to hijack by linking to it here but it's easily found via Google). I know of a family whose little girl has the same cancer that DS did, it's so rare it can only be treated at one of two hospitals in the UK and they are having to travel from Glasgow to Birmingham for treatment.

Lonely you are extremely gracious to be pleased that C&C have financial support, but it's so very wrong that significant support for parents of seriously ill children has to come from public donations in the first place.

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 12/07/2017 09:44

Im sorry I caved and joined CA earlier in the week got yeah, I got banned!

Couldn't keep quiet could I lol

There are circumstances in which parents are NOT entitled to all his medical records.

This is quite a good summary:

There's a Charlie's Army Australia group too...

TheFairyCaravan · 12/07/2017 09:46

It speaks volumes that no other hospital will take Charlie. It, also, should silence the shouts of "GOSH are keeping him a prisoner" or stop the Huns calling it GOSP (I presume the P is for prison) but it won't. It probably didn't even register that the question has been asked.

LovelyBath77 · 12/07/2017 09:47

Usually if you request records the records office at the hospitals simply copies the lot and gives it to you. So should not be need to have people keep going back to ask for them.

OP posts:
redshoeblueshoe · 12/07/2017 09:47

the 007 remark also deserves some award for sheer stupidity.
Of course no other children's hospital will take him, because the parents believe doctors are murderers, and they also want to protect the privacy of their other patients, staff, and families.
