to get slightly annoyed on MN at times by the general "perfectness" that is being displayed

Reading through threads I get a bit fed up sometimes because it seems that everybody on MN seems to have the oh so perfect life - a rich and varied social life, a fantastic relationship with dh/dp with meaningful conversations over a bottle of wine several nights a week, plenty of stimulating activities with the children, fresh, organic, healthy food of course, reading high-quality books...

and so on and so on...

am I just in a bad mood today?

Ha, ha, ha, ha.... (Dottydot laughing hysterically at the thought)

SherlockLGJ · 20/03/2007 19:39

You are in a bad mood I suspect......

lou33 · 20/03/2007 19:39

we are all lazy slatterns really

fryalot · 20/03/2007 19:41

Just putting on a perfect front so we don't get found out as being lazy slatterns!

Swizzler · 20/03/2007 19:41

You didn't see the crisp sandwich thread then

WriggleJiggle · 20/03/2007 19:41

I could share with you that dd was grumpy and cried alllllllll day

bubblerock · 20/03/2007 19:42

Nope, I read some posts and feel 100% grateful for what I have. It may not be perfect but compared to what others have to deal with, it's fab!

misdee · 20/03/2007 19:42

everybody, really

crispyduck · 20/03/2007 19:42

no social life except visits to Kew Gardens with DS, no DP, no wine, no books (too tired) will admit to some organic food... stalk me around the threads you will feel much better!

nickytwotimes · 20/03/2007 19:43

i'm a lazy cow and neglect my poor boy in order to come on mn!!

WelshBoris · 20/03/2007 19:43

Spot on, apart from my fab job aswell.

But, yes I am perfect.

Spidermama · 20/03/2007 19:44

Emkana, this is like a driftnet approach to critisising people. Absolutely anyone could find themselves caught up in your net.

LilyLoo · 20/03/2007 19:44

My lifes not perfect just a bit of everything 'in moderation'

SenoraPostrophe · 20/03/2007 19:45

lol. I nearly posted a thread like this the other day after a spate of "am I being unrerasonable to expect everyone else to be as perfect as I am" threads.

I do have the wine several nights a week though.

WelshBoris · 20/03/2007 19:45

I think that is the point Spidermama

Spidermama · 20/03/2007 19:45

I saw a post from Cod the other evening saying the majority of MNers are overwieght despressives, so I think it depends what mood you're in.

AnnabelCaramel · 20/03/2007 19:47

The best thing about mn is that whatever mood you're in you can generally find someone else who feels the same!

Beetrootccio · 20/03/2007 19:49

emkana - I am the opposite - I cannot bleive some of the crap some people on MN put up with

SenoraPostrophe · 20/03/2007 19:50

actually I do not believe some of the crap some people put up with. praps I'm cynical.
