ayyylmao It's not our job to prove these things to you. You can RTFT and the one before this and all of the other threads.

ayyylmao · 13/05/2017 05:40

What exactly is my type? Someone who dares to not buy into ridiculous hysteria?

I said you don't have to reply but you chose to do so. When you make a claim you generally do have to provide proof or it's meaningless. Saying the proof lies in threads which are 1000s of posts long doesn't really do much.

It's just so painfully typical of people on the left. Refuse to reply and make an excuse when confronted with a different opinion or asked to validate a claim. Step outside of the left wing echo chambers every now and then.

saffronwblue · 13/05/2017 06:44

Well yesterday Trump threatened Comey by twitter. That is an unlawful act right there.

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 13/05/2017 07:03

Here you go ayyylmao, why not have a gander at this and the previous weeks' summaries if you're not inclined to this thread.

ayyylmao

How about this?
You prove he isn't what I claimed. You prove without a doubt that he's nothing like what he's showing to be.
You came here saying we're hysterical. You prove us wrong in every concern.

And... Start.

Lweji · 13/05/2017 07:10

As for your type, as of last night you had posted here four times including this. Two inoccuos posts in the afternoon, then one on labour.
Starting here aggressively calling people hysterical. Using the same beaten and weak rethoric to claim what a great guy Trump supposedly is.
You're the type of pp who mysteriously disappeared round January after the election. Does this mean someone higher up is feeling they need a stronger social media presence again?

blueskyinmarch · 13/05/2017 07:15

ayyylmao. It is absolutely fine if you disagree with the views on these threads. If you took the time to read through they are all regarding Trump and what he has been doing/saying- keeping track if you like. It is fair to say that no-one posting here is pro Trump but neither have they been particularly pro Hillary.

No-one needs to prove anything to you. Links and articles are posted and we are all free to think what we want, as are you. This is actually one of the least hysterical thread chains on MN. You are free to give us a different view if you want to.

It's funny how someone comes here after so many threads suddenly asking what's so bad about Trump and for people here to prove he really is that bad. Then walk off really happy when people don't have the patience to fully engage.
No. You fully engage. You comment here and disprove the claims that were made and the evidence presented in each thread.

It's ridiculous to go back to showing all the reasons why Betty DeVos was both a poor choice for being so ignorant and dangerous, and a corrupt choice, as her brother had been an important donor to Trump.
That's one drop in the Trump ocean of incompetence and corruption.
Now, you show how we are wrong and Betty was the natural and best choice.

bigmack · 13/05/2017 07:32

I've been lurking on and following these threads since they began and I presume so have many others. How strange that a belligerent poster like ayyylmao appears in the lead up to the general election. Hmm

ayyylmao · 13/05/2017 07:36

To be honest, at this point I feel like no one will change their mind about anything on either side so it'd be a waste of everybody's time. I apologise if I came across a bit nasty.

For the record, I wasn't calling people hysterical on here. I was talking about the unnecessary (imo) hysteria surrounding Trump. He can't eat two scoops of ice cream without it making headline news (literally).

Lweji · 13/05/2017 07:40

Yes, so different.

He can't eat two scoops of ice cream without it making headline news (literally).

And that's how he likes it. He's the one who keeps tweeting and saying outrageous things and keeps pushing an agenda against women and non-whites.

Orlantina · 13/05/2017 07:44

The only person bringing on the hysteria is Trump himself. His actions - especially on Twitter- generate headlines.

Warning the ex Head of the FBI who he's just fired not to leak anything because he may have "tapes" but then refusing to say if he has tapes.

Nixon comparisons are understandable.

Sorry, that image got attached by accident - was unrelated to the tweet!

ayyylmao · 13/05/2017 07:49

why are you even still replying to me? If I ask you to show me an example of this agenda, you'll tell me to go and read 4 1000+ post threads. I don't think you understand how a discussion works. Are you just never prepared to defend any position you have with a source or quote after you post it once?

Again, I literally said don't reply to me if you don't have a proper response. You have chosen to reply several times.

I'd still love to know about this electoral college fluke but I guess I'll never know.

Good talk.

ayyylmao I think you'll find Lweji has started going point by point. The first such issue raised for debate is Betty De Vos (see post at 07.31)

So start with that one. Once that's run to its natural conclusion we can move to the sacking of Sally Yates.

And that won't even have touched the tip of the iceberg...

thedcbrokemybank · 13/05/2017 08:09

Regardless of any potential criminal investigations Trump is a pathological liar. How can you support that in a President?

In the letter he sent to Comey he explicitly said he had fired him under recommendation from Rosenstein. In his interview with Lester Holt he directly contradicted this.
He said a number of times his inauguration crowds were the biggest ever. This has been proven over and over not to be true.
These are just two examples of lies.
Take away anything else - the unprofesssional tweeting, discrediting the media, historical flip flopping of political allegiance, fraud etc etc and he is still a liar.

And if he lies so blatantly how can you ever trust this man with anything let alone the enormity of the American Presidency? You really want that man as your representative?

Dumdedumdedum · 13/05/2017 08:13

Following directly on from thedcbrokemybank's sadly accurate post, here is my current hero, Dan Rather's, most recent take on TrumpWorld:

The podium of the Press Secretary is where the US President communicates to the world.

There have been countless times that what has been said as fact from the podium has proven to be false. Not misinterpreted. But what the President's Spokesperson has said about events and things the President has said is FALSE. A lie. Massively inaccurate.

It's ok for the spokesperson to say "I don't know. " But deliberate lies - and I'm guessing that Trump has lied to Spicer is not what's expected from the President of the US.
