To ask about trolls

NOT a TAAT - just inspired by a certain one

Tell us about your fave MN troll

I liked the woman who had a dead husband who hand painted the childrens bedrooms, and now she was remarried she wanted all of her stepchildren to sleep in one room so that her children from her first marriage wouldn't have to give up their bedrooms even for one night!

Surely IANBU to ask what your favorite troll on MN has been?!

Was she a troll PrivatePike? Shock

I was so invested in those threads. I know a thread was deleted but then she came back to say that she had only lied about going to solicitors etc to appease everyone telling her to on NM. Didn't she contact MN and they reinstated her thread? I thought this kind of proved she was telling the truth? I'm genuinely a little shocked at that one Blush

HairsprayBabe · 16/02/2017 16:05

Oh yes the baby name troll who had a daughter called maddieson and wanted an equally stupid name for her imaginary new son
I suggested Ollyver 😂

Yes Maui wedding was a troll, she posted loads of threads before being banned one about a madly expensive coffee table!

Curry troll was good - and apparently still about!

Dose anyone else remember the cruel stepmother troll who took her own DC to activites and made her stepkids of the same age just watch or sit in the car?

yes the shoe troll - she was odd

queenc81 · 16/02/2017 16:07

On another parenting sight, I had someone pretend to be me, not name wise. But she must have gone through my previous comments/ threads and used my sons name and Illness. Everytime I posted updating people on his progress she would copy on hers Shock was so baffling.

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 16:08

I enjoyed the one where the OP had had an argument with her MIL which involved them calling each other carcasses.

LovelyFriend · 16/02/2017 16:09

i'm Back - to be an extra Lovely Friend to wedding trolls ;)

NerrSnerr · 16/02/2017 16:09

Well, I was going to start a new thread but I have a problem. WIBU to send my DC to school in these shoes? Grin

I liked the trolls a few months ago whose boyfriend literally ate all the pies and the Subway meals and anything else he could get his hands on whilst the OP was left to go hungry.

I liked it because the OP wasn't upset in any way. It was funny.

there was one poster that went off into 2 or 3 threads about how husband had gone off though they'd tried for a baby and she'd just found she was pregnant. Lots of detail about how he wanted half of everything in the house and was very keen to have the home-made chutney. She called him chutney something. Lots of detail about this and the pregnancy. Then all the threads disappeared - never could work out if it was troll deletion or something else. Anyone else remember that one??

Jellybean83 · 16/02/2017 16:13

Gosh she must've had such a good memory, she literally replied in massively great detail to everyone who posted on that thread. Apart from the initial confession of lying about a few things she didn't appear to trip herself up at all.

HairsprayBabe · 16/02/2017 16:14

The weird and funmy trolls are good

The ones pretending to have sick kids are just awful.

I love the successful party planner troll!

And there is one who keeps popping up about starting a relationship before the age of consent but "waiting" for sexual contact and then basically being abused/ assaulted in the now "happy" relationship. They always have children as well.

Was Sharon and the Wasp a troll?

OP posts:
RatHammock · 16/02/2017 16:16

Oh yes, chutneywanker or something. I remember that one. And Liftzilla - that went on for AGES.

KurriKurri · 16/02/2017 16:17

Was the shoe troll into Clarks Jesus sandals? - I think I commented on that thread (in a non fetishy way) and then had several very shoe fetishy PM's from them. (Or maybe that was another shoe troll Grin)

CatThiefKeith · 16/02/2017 16:17

Hamster stew. You'd get banned for that shit these days! Grin

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 16:17

Sharon, the wasp and the winey wall was either a troll or completely deranged. Was that the same poster who got annoyed with her DH T-Rexing in the supermarket?

MyWhatICallNameChange · 16/02/2017 16:18

Oh no, I've got twins who were premature and I'm a stepmum. I promise that although I may look like one I am definitely not a troll.

My posts on here are incredibly boring!

I always liked the troll who would post about her soon to be DH having his adult sons round for access visits still and they'd argue. I think she had a son too who the DH was horrible too. All her posts were around the same theme, getting closer and closer to the wedding.

ShakeofFara · 16/02/2017 16:18

Gnushoes the chutney person is still about and wasn't/isn't a troll afaik.

Oliver's Army was awful. So many posters getting over invested and then it all imploded.

Dizzymare and her twins. Why is always twins?

Jellybean83 · 16/02/2017 16:18

I'm just pissed off I missed her being outed, that would've been a doozy. Grin

ElderDruid · 16/02/2017 16:18

I saw this morning about Bora Bora and then the thread went. What's the Maui one?

MyWhatICallNameChange · 16/02/2017 16:20

Ah the T-rexing one was funny. In fact, one of my (definitely real) twins t-rexed in Asda and was left bemused by my amusement. Grin
