I have two but both took a lot of thought, design and mean a lot to me. Perhaps you need to rebook when you e made a decision on what piece of art you're going to put on your body to keep forever.

I'd agree with Mungobungo I spent a few years deciding what I wanted and making sure I was ready to have it on me permanently. It's a very personal one, which means something to me but isn't necessarily obvious to anyone else.

gin I love your tiger. Is the black bird a Phoenix? I'm on my phone. It's hard to make out.

It is a Phoenix and is picked out in purple around the black although I don't think the pic does it justice. I also have a dragon on my hip but it's over 20 years old and is a little fuzzy round the edges

So actually, that pic was prior to the purple!

It was a coverup, I had a horrid faded thing that I stupidly had gotten in my teens and I'd hated it for years, I spents years trying to find a design I liked but in the end I just told the tattooist to do whatever he wanted, figuring worse can happen is I won't like it, but anything would look better than what it was covering.

I loved it the minute I saw it. I had planned to have it extended all the way down but honestly, the bit I had done hurt like fuck and I don't think I could do it again :)
